Hello,
I have a mish-mash collection of photos from my yard and some from around the lake all taken around the middle of September.
I am not sure of this bird's id, maybe an Eastern PeWee or unknown flycatcher.
During our walk to our lake, it was a beautiful day and an awesome looking sky.
A neat shaped cloud.
My morning glory fence with some pokeberry for the birds mixed in. You have to look hard for our the chained link under all the greenery. We let some of our yard go wild just for the birds and critters.
More Pokeberries.
My moon shot from Sept 14th. I missed the harvest full moon our skies on that day were cloudy!
I hope you enjoyed your visit and my post. I appreciate your nice comments. Enjoy your day and the weekend ahead!
Here is a list of linky parties for part of the week, I hope to see you there.
Thanks to Theresa @ The Run*A*Round Ranch for hosting Good Fences.
Thank you to Sylvia, Yogi and Sandy for hosting Skywatch Friday.
Thanks to Tom the host of The Barn Collective

Hello,
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! The sky and the clouds was so pretty. Wonderful morning glory as well!
Happy Thursday!
Hi Eileen, I am glad to find out what pokeberries look like. We see a lot of those on our street. How nice that the birds have a safe place in your yard. Clouds prevented us from viewing the moon too so I enjoyed your photo. I know you are enjoying pretty Autumn skies during your walks. Have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteLua maravilhosa. Belo passeio que originou tantas fotos lindas! bjs,um chica
ReplyDeleteGood morning Eileen and thanks for taking us around the lake and into your garden for a lovely visit!
ReplyDeleteThe skies are wonderful and the second cloud is almost angelic and so pretty!

ReplyDeleteFor some strange reason I've always liked pokeberry.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that lake with me. I seems to be very large? Nice photograpy. Well done. Have a good day, Eileen!
ReplyDeleteI just came from seeing pokeberries in Austrailia, I told her my dad used to get upset because the birds pooped all over anything and everything with pokeberry juice... they are pretty to look at. big beautiful moon

ReplyDeleteI love a yard with wild edges; the pokeberry is pretty as well as useful to the birdies! I haven't seen the moon for over a month either - if NZ is the land of the long white cloud, Scotland is the land of the permanent grey!!! YAM xx
Nice blue sky by the lake
ReplyDeleteHi Eileen,
ReplyDeletewonderful impressions of the nature around you in the first days of fall. Your moon shot is awesome, as always.

ReplyDeleteI love your travels. I'm still tired from our w/e trip! Whew!
ReplyDeleteLove your garter snake, too!
Hi Eileen! Love the Morning Glory fence and pokeberries. I'm so glad you leave them for the birds. Animals just don't get it when humans rip out the good stuff. *smiles* That moon shot is gorgeous and amazing.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday to you!
Nice . . . very . . .
ReplyDeleteLove the berries against the fence ~ so decorative ~ Awesome shot of the moon ~
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy week ~ ^_^
Great moon shot.
ReplyDeletepretty photo of the morning glories and poke berries...i have a bunch of poke berries around here too but mine don't look as pretty as yours!
ReplyDeleteThose pokeberries look interesting!!! Are they edible... I have never heard of them before! Love you moon picture!
ReplyDeleteLovely sky and moon photos!
ReplyDeleteYour morning glory looks just like mine!
ReplyDeleteHello Eileen!:) Lovely sky shots,...the second one is really beautiful. I wonder if Morning Glory and Pokeweed have a relationship going on,...no kidding. The Pokeweed on the farm grows side by side with Morning Glory, and now I'm seeing it here!!! I think that they may be beneficial to each other. Yours look very beautiful, and I can see the fence just fine. Love the shot of the Pokeberry hanging over the fence.
ReplyDeleteIt is a gorgeous setting! Wonderful flowers and moon shots! Have a beautiful weekend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful series, Eileen, and your moon shot is fantastic!!! I hope you are having a great week. Thank you so much for sharing. :)
ReplyDeletePretty shot of the lake. Loved the Morning Glory & Pokeberry on your fence. It's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI love the morning glories!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing beautiful photos with us.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend from Anne-Mari
I like your mish-mash photos Eileen. A nice selection. My critter photos will be from my archives again this Saturday. I haven't had a chance to take any and it's pouring with rain, has been for the last few days. Good for the gardens though :) Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteI love to see bushes (especially rose) overtaking a fence, what a lovely sight.
ReplyDeleteWorth a Thousand Words
I have had that 'weed' appear in my yard / garden never sure what it was ....
ReplyDeleteThe pokeberry!!
Mystery solved! :)
Love that moon shot!!! Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove that you let some of your yard go wild for the birds and critters. : )
ReplyDeleteYou always have the best moon pictures!!!
Some lovely photo's Eileen, I especially like your second one, and agree it is a neat shaped cloud in your third one. Sometimes it is lovely to take time out and gaze at the clouds and the shapes they can make.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the remainder of September - October is just around the corner!
All the best Jan
love the morning glories and pokeberries! nice!
ReplyDeleteloved your first image. i would not have seen the bird had i not been reading!!! your moon capture is, as always, spectacular!!!
ReplyDeleteI got a pre harvest moon shot also. Yours is really really sharp.
ReplyDeleteYou take the best moon shots, Eileen! The clouds remind me of angels. Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteA pokeberry plant grew near the fence at the back of the yard. When I learned it was poisonous, I got rid of it. There appears to be one growing on the property line with our neighbor. They have several small children, so I'll check on that tomorrow while it is fresh in mind. So glad you shared this today.
ReplyDeleteHi Eileen, I've never heard of Pokeberries. They are really lovely with your morning glory fence. Your lake and skies are really beautiful-a nice walk. Have a great end of week.
ReplyDeleteHello Eileen! This is a fun series of photos and it's hard to pick a favorite! But I think I'll say the blue skies, after such a gloomy cloudy dreary day!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed my stroll with you.
ReplyDeleteTill next tine...
Hi, Greetings from India.
ReplyDeleteThanks for beautiful post and pics :)
Great moon shot !
ReplyDeleteWonderful views, nice moon photo!
ReplyDeleteI know I've mentioned this before, but I really am amazed every time I see your moon shots. It's incredible what technology we have in our hands these days. Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe bird ensconced on the top looks so cute!
ReplyDeleteI remember the name of that road, and as I also remember, it's a lovely place to wander about! Pretty captures.
ReplyDeleteOh Eileen, the morning glory is so beautiful, and the moon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Eileen, As always, you have posted some neat photos! I always especially enjoy your moon photos. I have tried to get some good shots of the moon from my deck and have found it to be a bit harder than I would have expected. On a good clear night the full moon is so bright that it becomes a challenge to get the exposure right, even for the automatic setting. My larger camera has a zoom up to equilivent 400mm but I can't get as sweet a photo as you do. I wonder what power of lens you are using? I also enjoyed your flower, sky, and bird photos. Thanks for sharing! Have a happy weekend ahead!
ReplyDeleteVery nice ! I love the extraordinary shaped clouds !
ReplyDeleteMarveloso, Eileen. I love your wispy orange angel clouds
ReplyDeletenice surrounding. Gret shots.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for bringing the beauty of the moon our way.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots.
Wishing you a lovely Saturday evening!
Jemma
