Hello,
These are some images from our walk at the local Hashawha Nature Center. It is one of our favorite local parks to walk and enjoy nature. There is usually always something great to see there.
The trail going towards Lake Hashawha.
It was a good day to see the butterflies, below are the Great Spangled Fritillary butterflies.
A Belted Kingfisher landed in a tree right above our heads.
It was a pretty sky and cloud day. Great for skwatching.
A bridge and railing on the trail for Tex's Good Fences.
Some Sulfur butterflies, I am assuming they are the Clouded Sulfur. Please let me know if my id is wrong.
For Tom's Barn Collective and Tex's Good Fence here is a barn and fence scnee seen along the ride home.
As always I hope you enjoyed your visit and my photos and post. I appreciate your nice comments. Enjoy your day and the weekend ahead!
Here is a list of linky parties for part of the week, I hope to see you there.
Thanks to Theresa @ The Run*A*Round Ranch for hosting Good Fences.
Thank you to Sylvia, Yogi and Sandy for hosting Skywatch Friday.
Thanks to Tom the host of The Barn Collective

Beautiful butterflies.
They are difficult taking picture of.
You are a clever photographer.
Have a nice Thursday.
Eileen, have a fine day! I love the photo of the Kingfisher! Other colors than the Europian Kingfisher. So nice. What climat had this area? Tropical? Greetings and compliments for your beautiful photos.
Those are some seriously blue skies - not seen that for a while here - we are having record September rainfall, and we have only had 15 days of September so far!
Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
Hello Eileen and thanks for sharing your wonderful photos from Hashwha. Dragonflies are so pretty too, as well as the fritillaries!

A good day out. Lots of birds and insects to watch. And we always enjoy seeing the old barns. Wish I could have tagged along.
That's what I call a one lane bridge. Happy Day.
Great fence and barn. I always enjoy your nature photos. Hug B
LOVE the barn, so beautiful and I am not sure I would fit on that tiny bridge. never seen one that small before...
You KNOW I hate nature, blue skies, clouds, flutterbys, birds, all that stuff.
(I love visiting with you)
Hello,
Beautiful photos, and I really loves all your butterflies!
Happy Thursday, and enjoy your weekend ahed!
i like the Clouded Sulfur, i think i am seeing those around here right now. and that's a gorgeous barn, looking kind of huge, with all the components that make it special!!!
Great pictures . . .
Love a barn with windows . . . .
I need to go back and count.
I'll let you know . . .
I can see 44-45 . . .
Pretty little butterflies. What a nice place for a wander.
Awesome that there are so many butterflies that they gather together in groups. We have had very few this year. I think I have seen only two Monarchs all summer ... so sad. Not sure why that is happening. I used to get many in my yard and I have a lot of Milk Weed on my hill. Well, I am happy for you that you have so many wonderful places to walk and so much beauty to take in. Have a good week and weekend, Eileen :)

That last shot is stunning. As I viewed the narrow foot bridge, I wonder if I would dare cross it although it did look very sturdy.
Your countryside is just lovely! And, narrow, out-of-the-way bridges are so fascinating. And, you get great shots of some very pretty butterflies. Have a wonderful weekend.
I didn't realise I had a bridge phobia until I saw that photograph. The belted kingfisher is wonderful, the first one I have seen.
Great photo of the orange butterflies!
Such a beautiful place! And those critters are so cute ♥

Hi Eileen, Such a pretty day for being outdoors. I enjoyed all the pictures, especially that big ole' barn. GA just does not have barns like that any longer.

Love the photos. Looks like a place I would love to visit. Thanks for sharing.
Love the 'fence' on your nature walk!!!
Precious all butterflies and dragonfly, Eileen.
Barely visible here.
Good Thursday friend ;)
Besos.
Wow, that is a wildlife. I love it.
Loved this walk Eileen! I am so impressed that you know so many butterfly names -- and impressed that you got such good pictures; especially of more than one of them at once.
What a pleasant looking day. The area looks like a great place to enjoy nature. I love seeing butterflies. That bridge wouldn't be one I'd try crossing. Loved your barn/fence scene.
I think that's the biggest barn I've ever seen! It must be a huge farm. Love your photos today! Lots of interesting things to see when you get outside. Hugs!
Hi, Eileen,
I love these Sulfur butterfly, very pretty, nice color! I also liked your photo of sky and clouds.
EACH of these shots is excellent! But I love the butterflies! Thanks, Eileen <3

Your butterflies on the flower photo is gorgeous.
What a beautiful day you had Thanx for spreading your joy
Beautiful post! I like the butterfly / thistle shot.
We also have a fave local park that we go to every chance we get. It's not as pretty lush as this one, but it has its own charms.
Love the butterfly shots.
Worth a Thousand Words
what a neat barn! love the blue skies and puffy clouds at this time of year. :)
Hi Eileen, well it is Thursday and I finally made it to your blog. I cannot get there by using my laptop and we share this desktop. I love this share and seeing your butterflies are wonderful. I have seen so few this season...finally saw a Monarch and it had slightly battered wings. I also saw a Fratilliary just this afternoon and it was sadly torn and I took no photos. The Summer has escaped me, no vacation again this year and so I am going to enjoy seeing where everyone else has been visiting and pretend I have been there with you~
Great shots.
Wonderful photos, so many pretty things to focus on. Have a great day Eileen.
The nature center looks like a great way to spend a few hours.
The butterflies, dragonfly and bird are posing for your camera. Pretty barn and fences. Have a beautiful weekend!

What a beautiful place and beautiful walk!
beautiful wildlife. Loved to see the "butterfly dance " :)
I LOVE how you know all the names of these birds and butterflies etc. :) I had one visiting a week or two ago ad did a post about her but no clue as to her name.
Why it was "Great Spangled Fritillary butterflies" according to Eileen.
Now if mine was not, it was a close cousin! :)
Another fun outing! The butterflies are always fun to see because they're just so captivating and carefree, but the Kingfisher is truly a treat, I don't see them nearly enough!
Clouded Sulphurs I'm pretty sure, and that's a nice Common Pondhawk too, Eileen.
~
