Hello,
My sunrise shots from Nov 9th, 2016. I love the beautiful colors and reflections. These were taken during our walk to our gym at the clubhouse.
"When you stop and look around, this life is pretty amazing."
"There isn't a day of my life that I do not marvel at the beauty that surrounds me and give thanks."
I am grateful and thankful for all the time I spend with nature.
I am thankful for the trees that give our environment life. They help to clean the air we breathe.
I am thankful for the birds that sing.
Neighborhood Great Blue heron with a Black-bellied Whistling Duck.
Egrets flying over our local lake.
Red-shouldered Hawk tree topper.
A few more neighborhood distant Black-bellied Whistling Ducks.
I hope you enjoyed my post and photos. Thank you for your visit and comments on my post. Enjoy your day and the weekend ahead!
Thanks to Michelle for the meme Thankful Thursday
I am also linking up to Skywatch Friday, I hope to see you there.
Thank you to Sylvia, Yogi and Sandy for hosting Skywatch Friday.

ReplyDeleteThose skies are really pretty, Eileen. I don't have to ask how your winter is going---looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWe're having a bad winter here--more ice than snow, so no skiing. Bummer.
I get the feeling sunrise was grander than your beautiful pictures could capture
ReplyDeleteYour sky shots are rich in color.
ReplyDeleteHi Eileen, That photo of the hawk is very beautiful! I also enjoy the water birds. Have a great day tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning colours. Earth is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteFabulous skies!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos Eileen. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly get some wonderful skies - a lot more than we do!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, beautifully captured images Eileen - and I'm with you all the way on the "attitude of gratitude" and thankfulness for so many things - one of which is the opportunity to "meet" fellow nature and photography enthusiasts through blogging.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to take a walk. I come away from your blog believing that life is pretty amazing. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteLove the red water and the hawk.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunsets Eileen, have a brilliant weekend too.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant captures!
ReplyDeletebeautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful sunset. Must be nice to sit at the waterfront overthere during sunset.
ReplyDeleteLove those sunrise shots. It's been so cloud covered and dreary here for days on end / haven't seen the sun, moon, stars , nada very much lately :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Beautiful sunrise over the water. It is a good life--and not snow for you there in Florida. Frigid cold here.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI am usually so busy here "below" that I rarely look up to see the awesome beauty you have captured. Only when I'm driving a long highway distance does the splendor of the cloud filled sky get my attention. What a thing to miss out on every day!
ReplyDeleteWonderful captures!
ReplyDeleteWish you a happy weekend!
Irene
life is pretty wonderful eileen - the skies are just beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! Such gorgeous sky shots. Hope you have a wonderful week. We are still snowed in here and likely will be for another several days, or even a week. I'll be so glad when we can get out of our road. It's a gravel road, with twists and dips and rises and they don't maintain it. That's why we are so stuck...if we had our 4-wheel drive jeep here, and snow tires would help, but we got stranded before we had a chance to get the snow tires. Still, without 4-wheel drive it would be impossible. We have to be better prepared before next winter! :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely sunrise shots Eileen. Isn't the peace and quiet of sun up just the best time of the day? You certainly are having the time of your life down there in Florida. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos, but I like the one with hawk the most. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful things surrounding you - so many things to be thankful for! Beautiful photos! Have a nice weekend, Eileen!

ReplyDeleteHi Eileen, I've never posted to "Thankful Thursday" but love the idea and happened to see your name and just had to comment on those superb sunrise shots and of course, I love your birds. But, most of all, I appreciate people who appreciate the beauty around them. The more I look, the more I notice, and a lot of that has stemmed from getting into photography. I wonder if it has been a bit the same for you. Have a wonderful week. See you next Saturday.
