Happy Monday!
Our world or my world, George's Creek is one of our local walks and a nearby creek that leads into our lake. We have many choices for our walks, many on the local fire roads. Some official trails that I believe are maintained by the local Sierra Club, George's Creek is a maintained trail along the creek and leads to the lake.
These are images from our walk on the trail. We saw lots of daylilies, Turkey Vultures flying high in the sky and a group of Wood Ducks and some fish in the creek.
A female wood duck, they was a family but they went into hiding.
Daylilies along the creek's edge.
I am not sure what kind of fish this is, it was kind of big.
A view of the creek looking a little muddy from recent rain. We saw a Great Blue Heron but it was too shy to pose for a photo.
Sunlight on George's Creek.
Turkey Vultures a common sighting around our neighborhood and the lake.
Thanks for your visit today! I hope you enjoyed my post and photos.

Hello Eileen,
Beautiful walking area! I love the daylilies. It looks like one I have in my garden, and that's the orginal daylily who not have been crossed with others. Today there are very many new daylilies.

Excellent capture of the fish in the water, Eileen. And I would love to stroll along George's Creek in that dappled sunlight.
Lovely capture from the trail and you got wonderful light to take brilliant shots. The creek seems to take peaceful ride to lake…

I love those orange daylilies, Eileen! They used to grow in my garden in New York. The deer love to eat lilies here, so I can't plant them any longer.
