Welcome to Saturday's Critters !
If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!
My post is more on our visit to Bombay Hook NWR in Delaware. We were there during a great time to see the Egrets, Herons and Shorebirds on the move. It's migration time, sad to see these beauties leaving us for now.
Pretty view of a couple of Bobolinks.
Deer and it's reflection
A Blue Grosbeak, sorry about the tree branch in the way.
Just a guess below is a female Common Yellowthroat
Five juvenile Night Herons.
Peregrine Falcon
Cedar Waxwing, I hope that is berry juice on it's chest.
Green Heron in the hunt position. There is a shadow of the tree above right in the heron's head.
Another Peregrine Falcon
I appreciate and thank everyone who links up their post and for all the wonderful comments !
Here is a list of my linky parties;
Also visit: I'd-Rather-B-Birdin. Thanks to the gracious host: Anni.

Hi Eileen, thanks for posting this meme. I love seeing the Peregrine Falcon and yes, I think the red on the waxwing, is berry juice. Have a great day. Jo
ReplyDeleteThe first peregrine looks like he could use a comb. LOL Having a "bad-feather" day.
ReplyDeleteExcellent. Love the reflecting deer and the sweet little birdies. The Falcon is magnificent and I too hope that is juice on the Waxwings chest.

ReplyDeleteThat is a really nice range of birds, Eileen. The Bobolinks have been gone from here for a couple of weeks now, a sure sign that fall is approaching. You would never know it based on temperature. Yesterday it got up to around 33 degrees and we sat out in the patio at our favourite restaurant for dinner last night. Amazing!

ReplyDeleteThe peregrine falcon is an interesting bird. I watched a camera on a nest box. It's also an example of a rescue bird after it was almost wiped out by DDT.

ReplyDeleteGood morning Eileen, what an incredible shot of the deer which to me seems to be running swiftly, but to capture the reflection too is wonderful. Win, win, I'd say. You had an abundance of critter friends to share today. It's a perfect time to be out and about.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Eileen! I love seeing the Bobolinks.
