Welcome to Saturday's Critters!

Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!
These are some birds from my back yard and the forest around our home. I enjoy birding right outside my windows.
The male Cardinal is sitting in bush in our yard, waiting for a turn at the feeder.
The Male House Finch and seen below is the female House Finch.
The Carolina Wren eating some suet.
The Red-bellied Woodpecker love the suet.
Top row, the male Goldfinch getting his summer colors and the male Red-bellied woodpecker. Bottom row, 2 Dark-eyed Juncos and a female House Finch.
I keep seeing this Yellow-bellied Sapsucker sitting in our Rhododendron outside our front window. He is taken over the Cardinal's job of flying to the window scaring it's rival away.
Thanks to all my visitors and for all the wonderful comments. I appreciate everyone who loves critters and has linked up their post.
Here is a list of my linky parties;
Also visit: I'd-Rather-B-Birdin. Thanks to the host Anni.

...like red barns, I love those red cardinals. Thanks Eileen for hosting, enjoy your weekend.
It's going to be a few months before we see cardinals here in St. Louis. The bird or the baseball kind.
So beautiful bids. Loved all clicks.
Have a nice weekend.
Excellent shots, Eileen. I specially like the Red-bellied Woodpecker.

... oh to have such a window scene!!! Happy weekend. YAM xx
Always loves to see wrens and woodpeckers. There has been a wren at a place outside town but it has been gone for two months now. I think it too much water in the stream where it used to be.
Have a great week.

Great photos. I especially like the Cardinal, but all of these birds are lovely to look at.
Hello Eileen
Those red cardinals are so incredibly beautiful !!! Such a shame that these beautiful birds do not live in the Netherlands. the woodpecker is also a beautiful bird. That Carolina Wren is really super to see.
Very nice evening, still.
Greetings, Helma
Hi Eileen, oh that entry image of the male American Cardinal is so beautiful. He takes the show, doesn't her!? The other birds are just a lovely. I have not seen as many birds that migrate here in Winter months due to the mild weather we have had so far. I would love for my Dark Eyed Juncos to return for a while. Happy Weekend. Thank you for all that you do~
Thank you Eileen 💋
Beautiful cardinal! It's nice to see the goldfinch getting ready for Spring! We have had a sapsucker on our mahogany tree and are worried about the damage they have done in the past. We shoo him (or her-- an immature) and suddenly it has not visited again for the past week or so.
I love the male Cardinal, it's colouring red.
Wow, i love these ! Very nice !
The cardinal beautiful. It's red color pops out in every season.
You've got some beautiful birds here Eileen, but my favourite is the Cardinal … what an amazing colour he is.
Enjoy your weekend.
All the best Jan
Aw sweet friends to have close by all colorful and fun to watch. Don't forget the Backyard Bird Watch Feb 14-17. I enjoy the sapsucker in my yard and today one got really low on a holly tree and my dog Annie chased it! Never has she done that before. Glad I was there to referee.
What a sweet Carolina Wren! I would love to have cardinals in my garden. Have a happy week Eileen.

Your birds are like ours. Not surprising, I suppose. I say a yellow-bellied sapsucker yesterday but only got a picture of his back.

This brought memories of the feeders we use to have on our deck (in our Oregon home, before we retired and sold). Some of the same birds and all of the same pleasure!
How nice that those beautiful birds sat long enough for you to capture them with your camera. Love that Cardinal!
