Saturday's Critters #331

Welcome to Saturday's Critters!

If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

 The Hairy Woodpeckers have been visiting my suet feeder often, a few times a day. This is the male below, you can see the red spot on it's head.

Here comes the Red-bellied woodpecker in for a landing on the suet.  Make way!!

Mr. Red-bellied Woodpecker says good, now I have the suet all to myself.

Below are the Downy Woodpecker and just a peak at the Pine Warbler  on the other side of the suet feeder.

Celebrate Earth Day April 22nd, we can each do some easy things to help the environment.. Here are some suggestions I found on a Earth Day website. Try walking or ride a bike to places rather than drive, plant a tree,  recycle as much as you can, switch to ebills if you can, plant an organic veggie garden, stop using pesticides, volunteer your time and my favorite is make an oasis for the birds and critters in your yard.

Thanks to all my visitors and for all the wonderful comments. I appreciate everyone who loves critters and has linked up their critter post.

Here is a list of my linky parties;

Also visit:  I'd-Rather-B-Birdin. Thanks to the host Anni.

All good suggestions to ease the confinement we have in this lockdown. However, Aside form small businesses and others who want to open again, I think we need to have 14 days with no new cases before the restrictions are eased. Love the birds at the feeders. I have been saving sunflower szeeds for the winter dining down here, outside , maybe Hugh will need to mAke a bird table.

Hello Eileen,
I love Woodpeckers … starts with Woody Woodpecker the strip, until after the little or great woodpecker flying around on this earth!
About Earth Day, I recycle my mess every day and try to be as economical as possible with everything… and not only on Earth Day!
I wish you a nice weekend!
Stay healthy, stay at home!

I liked your woodpecker morning Eileen. Looks like you need more feeders to stop those woodpeckers fighting over the goodies on offer. Thanks for the link-up this morning for all us stay-at-homes.

It is interesting to see the hairy and downy woodpeckers in the same post. Thank you.

I too love woodpeckers, not so much when they peck at the sides of our wooden house! But that seems to be one woodpecker and just twice. Mind you, he did make a small hole in the wall. Luckily we are fervent bird lovers here!
