Saturday's Critters #333

Welcome to Saturday's Critters!

Happy month of May!!

If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

 I have seen migrants and new summer birds begin to arrive.  On April 28th I saw my in my yard the Indigo Bunting and my Ruby-throated Hummingbird arrived.  On April 30th, I saw a few Rose-breasted Grosbeaks.

 The American Goldfinches look pretty in their bright colors.

The American Goldfinches land in the butterfly bush before heading to the feeders.

 The birds like this White-throated Sparrow perched in our blueberry bushes. I have have a few of these sparrows around, they should be leaving soon.

Thanks to all my visitors and for all the wonderful comments. I appreciate everyone who loves critters and has linked up their critter post.

Here is the linky ;

  8. Love those colorful yard birds. This is the first time since 2004 that we will miss spring migration and will be unable to participate in in the International Migratory Bird "Big Day" in Illinois on the second Saturday in May. Here in south Florida migration will be drawing to a close by then.

  11. Baltimore Orioles have arrived back here and we put out our first oranges yesterday. No takers yet...but maybe today. The biggest event around here was a flock of sixteen American Avocets that stayed for one day only before moving on. A very unusual sighting for this location.
