Welcome to Saturday's Critters!
Hello and happy Saturday!
If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!
May 10th and 11th, I am still making my way through the Ireland photos.
1. The scenic views and stops were at Galway and on the road to Doolin. Grey Heron, lots of gulls along the river wall, a Galway street scene, more gulls and Mute Swans on the river bank.
6. I believe this is a Meadow Pipit, there were fields around the back of our lodging and along the road. As always I hear more birds than I actually see.
7. The view outside our room for the night in Doolin.
8. Hubby and I were in the habit of taking an early morning walk before breakfast and before the tour started for the day. These are the early morning birds I saw in Doolin, the Pied Wagtail, Eurasian Robin, White-throated Dipper, Jackdaw, Rook and the House Sparrows.
9. I was able to watch this White-throated Dipper for awhile, it looks like it found breakfast.
Thank you for sharing your critters and post!
Thanks to all my visitors and for your past and present comments. Stop back to see any replies to your comments. I appreciate everyone who loves and respects wildlife. Thank you for linking up a critter post.

We loved the birds near Galway when we visited there (several times). The crows and rooks were especially interesting. THe swans feature in a poem by Yeats who lived around an hour from Galway.
Thank you for the photos and for hosting.
best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
A great picture of that white-throated dipper :-) Can't believe it's already Sat. and we are almost through July..thank you so much for sharing this lovely collection of nature!

It sounds like you had a wonderful time in Ireland! The scenery looks stunning, and I'm glad you were able to see so many different birds. The White-throated Dipper is especially beautiful, and your closeup shot of it is fantastic.
Our swans look like that, too. I remember my cousin wanted to pet one... bad idea! ;-)
Oh, I love the take of the boat. And crows, they are so clever. I´m looking forward to listen to the ones in Perth - they really chat!
Thank you for the Ireland-tour. Have a great day !

Hi Eileen,

Greetings Irma
You seem to see different creatures on different days. I love white throat dipper the best.
Hello Eileen,
Beautiful photos of many different birds in Europe. The wildflowers was very pretty too.
Take care and have a great weekend!
even after years of blogging, it still amazes me that every country, including ours, looks very much the same and the birds are much the same. if not for labels telling us where you took the photos it could be here where we live or where you live or any other country. now with all the instant viewing we have learned so much about other countries without going there. love the sale boat , love the name Pipit
Mais um lindo passeio que resultou nessas belas fotos!
Adorei ver!
beijos, ótimo fds!chica

...thanks Eileen for sharing these wonderful images from your trip. Take care and have a wonderful weekend.
There are subtle differences between Grey Heron and Great Blue, but I suspect that few people would recognize the fact if one or the other showed up on the “wrong” side of the Atlantic.
Beautiful photos Eileen. I like the White-throated Dipper. I never saw. Happy weekend !

Hello Eileen, I love your tour to Ireland and the different birds you saw. I've not done any critter posts as I'm still playing catch-up on my blog. I actually had two jackalv (female first and the male following) running across the road early this morning as I drove to Parkrun. They were too quick so no photo. Thank you for hosting this link. Jo
