Camera Critters

Camera Critter, picture is clickable

I was surprised one day to look out my window and see this deer. They are in the watershed that surrounds our yard. This was the first time I saw one actually in the yard, I think my dog usually keeps them away. I thought it was neat, I think this one was eating sunflower seeds off the ground.

  1. Great capture!
My yard backs up to wooded acres and right now we have a couple of twin fawns that like to visit and eat the acorns and my Rose of Sharon bushes. :)

    Thanks for your visit.

  3. How fun to look out your window and see a deer in your yard! We don't see much wildlife where I live but I often share my 'fur-friends' at Small Reflections.
    Hugs and blessings,

  6. Aww, and you even got one of your bird feeders in the pic! Love it.. we have deer behind us that come up to the edge of the yard and walk through the creek. I don't care how many times they do it, I still stop and make a big deal out of it. They're beautiful...
Thanks for visiting my blog; glad you liked my caterpillar. But it's not so much warm and fuzzy... it's a stinging one!

  8. Very well done! We don not have deer, being on a peninsula with much traffic in summer. They are so precious.
