Red-Breasted Nuthatch

I have been enjoying seeing  the RedBreasted Nuthatch as they visit my feeders.

  1. I love the red-breasted, but since a neighbor did some logging, they have been rare in the yard. Your photos of the eagles are remarkable, as is their recovery. 10-15 years ago just seeing an eagle was an event. Now look at them!

  12. You always get the great shots Eileen! I enjoy the nuthatches too! or the up-sidedown birds, as my grandma used to call them. we get this ones bigger cousin more often than the red breasted. and lots of woodpeckers.   28. Eileen since I've moved to the woodlands I too have enjoyed getting to know different species of feathered friends. In looking at your recent post you have identified the tufted titmouse for me!!I have been wondering as I see them visit regularly waht they are..yes I do have plenty of peanuts for them!
    Did you view my previous post where I show and tell about several of my woodlands visitors..feathered and fur!
