We visited this beach before heading back to our hotel for dinner and the sunset. The weather and sky were just perfect the whole week. When we first arrived at the beach we noticed these cute Parakeets making their way around the tree tops.

I am not sure if these were the Brown-throated Parakeets or if they are called Conures. The yellow head and green back with the blue splash of color on its wings look like the Brown-Throated Parakeets I have seen pictured.
At the beach I watched this Tropical Mockingbird, it did not see to mind posing for me.
While hubby and I were on vacation we watched most of the sunsets from our hotel. We could sit at the outside restaurant for our dinner or have a drink while watching the sky. It was very relaxing.

There are some parakeets, sometimes they come to my trees, I wish I have a good csmers.
Hi there - the mocking bird is great, but the sunsets are very, very good. Nice to watch the sun sink into the ocean.
I was pleased with the pictures of the Frogmouth - it was sat close enough to a street light to make things a little easier than shooting in the full dark!

Oh my...your sunset shot is gorgeous. At first I thought you had gone to Egypt when I first opened up the page because I saw the tent part sticking up. The mockingbirds that I've been seeing around the different parts of the world are very interesting. Cool birds!

These are all gorgeous sky shots. My faves are the palm trees silhouetted against the fiery sky. I think my very most favorite shots are of palm trees silhouetted at sunset! It says... "VACATION in a gorgeous place!"
