Birds & Blooms

I am linking up with Today's Flowers  and  Our World Tuesday

I have been so happy with the Clematis this season. There have been so many blooms. I have three species and each one is gorgeous. These are some shots of my pretty Clematis blooms and of course I have to throw in some of my pretty yard birds.

Other favorites in my yard are the irises and the Stella D'oro daylilies. The rhododendrons looked gorgeous filled with purple blooms. I guess you can tell purple is my favorite color for flowers.

Above, I watched a juvenile Tufted Titmouse. It was sitting on a branch waiting for the parent to come back with food. Also included above are the irises and clematis that I love.

I hope you enjoy my birds and blooms, they are definitely some of my favorites.
To see more beautiful flowers and photos please visit Today's Flowers  and Our World Tuesday.
Thanks to the host of Today's Flowers and to the hosting groups of Our World Tuesday. Also, thanks for the visit to my blog. I hope everyone has a great week ahead.

Your photos make me very happy as I look at them. They are fabulous Eileen. So vibrant and colorful and the birds and chipmunk are very sweet.

I would also like to thank you for the wonderful afternoon we had yesterday. We live about 40 minutes away from Skyline Drive and go there often during the year. When I read your post about Limberlost Trail a while back and looked at a map, I realized it wasn't too far away from our favorite spot, Big Meadows. We headed up yesterday and had the most marvelous walk along the trail. Again, a big thank you from hubby and me.

Your flower and bird photographs are all so beautiful. I used to have three different varieties of clematis but I lost them to our 2008 drought. At least I had 15 years to enjoy them but still sorry to see them gone. This week a number of the posts from bloggers have featured flowers I lost in 2008.

Truly STUNNING!!!! And such huge blossoms...I see a hand in that one image, and comparing the hand to the blossom...they must be nearly dinner plate sized!!!

I've always loved the clematis i see in blogs, and all blue flowers. My US blogger friend sent me seeds, unfortunately it wasn't able to germinate with our climate. So i content myself in looking at blogposts like yours!

Hi Eileen! The title of your post really caught my attention. As a person who lives in the city, I'm always deprived of such beautiful scenery. Bird and the blooms are very refreshing and relaxing. Thanks for sharing this. Have a great week ahead. :)

Although your pictures are all beautiful, I immediately picked out the one of the chipmonk ! It is so cute ! We don't have them here and I have seen the first once in my life at the Brice Canyon. They came and ate out of my hand !
