I am sharing a year in review of my favorite mosaics for my Mosaic Monday post..January 2014-December 2014..These are some of my favorites for various reasons, favorite bird, a great trip and of course spending time with my great-nephew Neill.
January 2014.. the Snowy Owl sitting on top of the Edwin Forsythe NWR visitor center..
February 2014.. a pair of Bald Eagles on nest near the Great Falls Nat'l Park.
March 2014..a visit to the Delaware shore and the Prime Hook NWR.
April 2014.. the Yellow-crowned Night Heron rookery in Baltimore..
May 2014.. our trip to Belize at the Sleeping Giant Rainforest resort.
June 2014.. baby Neill's baptism
July 2014..sighting of a couple of juvenile Baltimore Orioles at Hashawha Nature Center. It is always a treat to see the Orioles.
August 2014..a daytrip with my friend Janis to the Hershey Gardens and butterfly house.
September 2014.. our trip to the Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. A cool moose sighting.
October 2014..some fall colors seen at Bombay Hook NWR in Delaware.
November 2014.. Baby Neill on Thanksgiving Day.
December 2014.. our trip to Nags Head beach in the Outer Banks North Carolina..
It has been a wonderful year visiting so many wonderful places, enjoying nature and my bird sightings and Baby Neill.. I hope you enjoyed my post and photos. BIG news for me I am retiring from my job as of December 31st after 30 years plus 5 months.

These are all absolutely wonderful shares Eileen and I am thinking that since we have been there a few times, but never have seen a Moose in the Rocky Mountains, that that one image is my absolute favorite, just because. The Snowy Owls, oh my very beautiful. Happy New Year~

A nice overview of your shared blooms, birds and family. Your photography has been a pleasure to see each week.
Thank for your support and contributions to Mosaic Monday, it's been nice to know I have someone I can look to even though you have your own link party keeping you busy.
The day is almost here - a big celebration I hope. When I retired from my 32+ years part time job I was happy as could be until a big bouquet arrived from our daughters and then the tears started to flow!
Ha, never looked back and looked forward to new adventures, which I'm sure you are too.

Retired! You are. Too young looking to be retired. Anyway, you will be busier than ever and there will be more opportunities to go birding and take photographs. You are not kidding, it has been a wonderful year, and so beautifully portrayed in these mosaics, Eileen! Hard to know which to mention first, your sweet baby Neill, the yellow-crowned night heron, those snowy owls, the orioles.. my goodness, the nature and the happy times experienced will be hard to match in 2015 but I hope you do just that :)
