My World

I have a list below of memes I am joining for this week, and to save time I am doing one post for all. They are all fun memes to participate in...I hope you can join in with the fun  and check out some of the participating posts. Special thanks to all the wonderful host and their memes, I hope you have some time to check them out.

Happy Hanukkah to all that celebrate!!

I wanted to wish a very Happy Birthday to both my son who will be 23 on Dec 7 and to my hubby who's birthday is Dec 10th..

These are some images from my walk with hubby to the lake on Nov 8. We had a pretty blue sky, some ducks flying and landing on our lake and juvenile Bald Eagles flying over. We never know what we will see while on our walks to the lake and on the fireroads.

I was able to watch various flocks of ducks flying in during our walk to the lake. The shot above seems to be more Mallards but there are a few Buffleheads mixed in.

I like how the sunlight lit up these yellow leaves on the trees, ground and fireroad.

Above we saw two juvenile Bald Eagles flying near the lake, I was only able to catch a distant fly by shot. More ducks flying around the lake and some more Buffleheads came in for a landing.

Juvenile Bald Eagle flying over the lake and our heads.

Berries seen along the fireroad.

A view of the lake from the end of the fireroad. The bare deciduous trees standing in front of the pine trees across the lake. Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate your visits and nice comments. Have a happy day and new week ahead!

As always thanks to the wonderful group of hosts listed below.

So you had a Christmas baby, too. Our daughter was born Dec. 24th. She will be 38. Where have the years gone? Mine birthday is the 20th. My mom always managed to separate my birthday from Christmas and even my sister's whose birthday was the 19th. Love you photos, as usual, and especially the red berries. Have a wonderful week. Hope you have decent weather this week.

There are so many things to love about your photo collections, but one near the top of my list is getting lost in the most welcome "solitude." I feel like I'm the only one in the world enjoying your views, just soaking up the peace of a quiet place in the world - so hard to come by these days!

I have been enjoying your eagle captures Eileen, here and on FB. I look at all those leaves and think of how they'll break down and enrich the soil, one of nature's miracles.
Haven't been on my computer or blogging much, baking, reading and outings have invaded my life. LOL

I would take that walk with you any day ... so beautiful and peaceful. Our eagles haven't been back yet. It is so warm that the waters up north haven't frozen so they aren't coming down. We have had one male adult eagle show up on occasion. I hope that changes. Beautiful shots, Eileen ...

Hi Eileen, What a great place! So beautiful. I miss being right on the lake or pond as I was up in TN but then, I likely would not do well with Alligators in a yard. I just go to our neighborhood ponds and little lake. Your pictures of the eagles are really nice! Have an outstanding afternoon and evening today!
