Happy Thankful Thursday!
I was very happy with the flowers we picked this spring, they are still blooming, the Lantana, Upright Fuchsia and Salvia. Some of the trees are shedding just brown leaves, not many colors being seen here.
The female Red-bellied Woodpecker has found the suet ball feeder.

The Lantana is one of my favorite plants we bought back in the spring time.
Can you find the little bullfrog? Our little pond with the frog, turtle and moose yard ornaments.
The Upright Fuchsia has been blooming since spring.

Always thankful for the blue sky..
This is a tall pine tree in our yard

All those things are beautiful indeed Eileen. It's really lovely when the flowers hang on - their colours are so cheerful. The upright Fuschia is something different again!
Love your pond and ornaments - it's fun having little whimsies like that in the yard.
A lovely post, cheers and always nice to catch up again, Sue :D) xx
I love the Red-bellied Woodpecker, Eileen. There is one outside the window here, an industrious worker but not so colorful.

Enjoy your beautiful flowers and that cute female Woodpecker!
Good morning Eileen!
Great post and gorgeous pictures from your yard!
Great capture of the Red-bellied Woodpecker !
Like the pond and the decoration with the ornaments!
Your Lantana plant and your Fuchsia has bloomed so beautifully!
Wishing you a lovely day and a happy week ahead!
Dimi...
Hello,
Wonderful birds and flowers, and the little bullfrog is so cute! The upright fuchsia is so pretty. I love the color.
Happy Thursday!
Beautiful pics
I find it so hard to see lantana in gardens in USA. It is a noxious weed here in Oz because it takes over the natural flora in our forests and National Parks. It grows huge and fast. We are not allowed to grow it in our gardens.
That huge tree in your yard would make a great Christmas tree.
Good Morning Eileen. That is a lovely woodpecker and a smart looking bird to have on your feeders. I hope you are staying safe from all that bad weather I am reading about.
Céus, flores, animais e aves ...Sempre a natureza aqui tão bem mostrada! Adorei! beijos, tudo de bom, chica
Belas fotografias minha amiga, gostei de ver.
Um abraço e continuação de uma boa semana.

...nice moose sighting.
That tall pine would never stand up to our humidity...it's lovely! Great Lady Bird Johnson quote. (One of my favorite 1st Ladies!)
Beautiful pictures of the still-blooming flowers. We must remember to enjoy them while we still can! And, loved the quote "Where flowers bloom, so does hope."
It usually takes a cold snap to bring out the color in the leaves. Something we haven't had with 80 degrees temps in October.
Glad the woodpecker found the suet. I put some out this week but nobody yet. At least when I was looking. Happy Day.
Nice to see blooms as I sit here watching the drenching rain from Hurricane Micheal..Hopefully he will move quicker than Florence did!
Also nice to see blue sky we haven't had it for a while!
Yes indeed! A thankful heart is a happy heart!
Beautiful flowers, and great photo of the woodpecker.
Have a blessed day!
Thanks Linda! We had to have a tall pine next to the house removed, it was too close. On a windy day the branches were hanging on the roof making all kinds of noises.
Thanks Gayle! Enjoy your day!
It is a great quote, thanks Anni! Enjoy your day!
I love moose, thanks Tom!

Very pretty photos, I enjoyed them all. Your Red-bellied Woodpecker shot was my favorite and I also loved the frog, turtle and moose yard ornaments but all the flowers were beautiful. Enjoy the week what's left of it and have a great weekend :)
Your flowers look so good. Mine are fading a bit, but I am ready for fall. Thanks for always commenting and linking up. I do appreciate it! Have a GREAT weekend!
That's a fantastic shot of the woodpecker and the gardens still look very lovely.
Much to be thankful for I am sure. Me too. Love your photos. Lantana here is an annual. I really think it is pretty but do not care for it's scent. Love your pond full of frogs and such.

I hope you'll have a nice weekend.
Lantana?....waw….So beautiful.
I love the Woodpecker, beautiful Eileen.
Hello Eileen,
I read here that you have a lot of flowers in bloom and that is always happy to see :-)
I really like your woodpecker. I love sppe rights and we do not have these woodpeckers in the Netherlands. The colors of the flowers are amazing.
I also wish you a very nice weekend.
Greetings, Helma
Wonderful capture of the red-bellied woodpecker! We have a lot of lantana around our yard. I like the look of it, but have to be careful when I trim it. I must be allergic to it because I get red and itchy if it touches my skin, almost like poison oak! Have a nice weekend!
I love that woodpecker - so beautiful!
Beautiful bloom
I love your pond!!!
great choices for you, and awesome choices for the birds. your flowers are still so beautiful. that's a great capture of the red bellied!!!
Beautiful flowers, and having several days of dreary, misty days, I am looking forward to some blue skies.
Lovely to see those colors still in mid October . . .
I am thankful for you keeping me in birds, flowers, blue sky ...
Bull Frogs too!
I do like your pond!
Good to see a lovely woodpecker …
All the best Jan
