Saturday's Critters #251

Welcome to Saturday's Critters !

If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

I have not been many places lately due to the weather so here are more photos from my backyard.

Not sure if this is the Eastern Wood PeWee or a Eastern Phoebe?

Sorry for the photo quality, they were taken through the window.  I started seeing the warblers on 9/11 and now on 9/23 I am still seeing the Cape May Warblers.

I've been seeing a few Cape May Warblers at these berries for a week or more. The male Cape May Warbler is a brighter color yellow.

Looks like  a Hermit Thrush like to eat these berries too.

I appreciate and thank everyone who links up their post and for all your wonderful comments !

Here is a list of my linky parties;
Also visit:  I'd-Rather-B-BirdinThanks to the gracious host: Anni.

Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

  1. I like watching the birds in my garden too but I couldn't get good pictures of them because the slightest movement will send them flying away.

  3. The Hermit Thrush sure is beautiful.

    I saw those berry plants for the first time on our walk yesterday. I think my plant app called them Devil's Walking Stick?

  16. Sometimes bad weather is is nice just to provide time enjoy your photo collection-- I certainly do. That is an Eastern Wood-Pewee-- angular "crested" shape of head, prominent wing bars. First year phoebe may have buffy wing bars and rounder head.

  19. Our birds have pretty much flown, we're back to the same old winter birds, for the most part. I'm so happy to see yours!

    Last night, we had a mother and 3 small raccoons under the feeder. Must excitement in the dark...

    I've been here in Kentucky the last several days, and its been really hot and humid, and I've not seen a single bird, but lots of butterflies. :-)
