Saturday's Critters #253

Welcome to Saturday's Critters !

If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

These are birds from my yard.  I did have an exciting night when a Screech Owl showed up outside my bedroom window. I was alerted by a couple of Titmouse fussing at the owl. The warblers were still in the yard eating berries as of Oct 8th.

10/8/18....The Eastern Screech Owl outside my window, this was the second time I saw the owl right outside my window.

I pushed down the blind just enough to take a few photos. I did not want to spook the owl away. This is a link to the first Screech owl yardbird

10/5/18....The male Black-throated Blue Warbler was enjoying the Devil's Walking Stick berries.  I also saw the female but she was a little shy.

10/5/18...Two Cape May Warblers also loving the berries.

Above and below more of the Cape May Warblers.

Another shot of the Black-throated Blue Warbler.

The female Red-bellied Woodpecker on the suet ball feeder.

I appreciate and thank everyone who links up their post and for all the wonderful comments !

Here is a list of my linky parties;

  8. Any view of an Eastern Screech Owl is remarkable and to have one right outside your window is very special indeed. The closest I have come to that is to hear one calling in the night from my bedroom.

Love your owl. They see so much better than we do, so I imagine he now knows exactly how a camera operates!
