Saturday's Critters #260

Welcome to Saturday's Critters !

If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

I am sharing my yard birds from Nov 24th. The mosaic below on the top row is the Downy Woodpecker, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Red-bellied Woodpecker. Bottom row, male Cardinal and a female Purple Finch.

Mosaic below, Red-breasted Nuthatch, White-breasted Nuthatch, Carolina Chickadee, American Goldfinch, Tufted Titmouse, Dark-eyed Junco, Carolina Wren and a Northern Flicker.

A larger image of the male Downy Woodpecker..   The female does not have the red spot on the head.

The Chickadee looked funny stretching it's neck to reach the bird seed.

My backyard woodpeckers, the Northern Flicker, Downy Woodpecker, Red-bellied Woodpecker and the Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.

I appreciate and thank everyone who links up their post and for all the wonderful comments !

  11. nice collection of birds.

I bought myself a new camera last spring. Ws supposed to be great for wildlife, but it turned out to be worthess when it comes to "fast moving objects". As long as they stay put it works ratehr well. But as soon as they move the camera looses it :( I was lucky with the deers this time.

  25. Dearest Eileen; Before I comment for your wonderful critter post, Let me apologize for my linking 2 posts. Today I was out all day so used mobile phone linking. Your link starts around 2 p.m. in Japan; I was not home without pc wishing to link. I have no idea how but I pasted my old post (my first link here). Maybe my old copy in the phone(^^;) I really appreciate your 2 comments for both of them.

It sure must be wonderful to have visits from many kinds of birds (Wow; in only one day). Woodpeckers are all lovely and handsome♡♡♡ Made me surprised to see such varieties of them♪ Thanks for teaching us about the red spot. Recently I was happy to find my first kind of bird which I can't ID p-:)Thank you SO much for hosting and so sorry for my recent absence.
