Welcome to Saturday's Critters !
If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!
On November 30th I happened to be looking out my window and saw 4-5 Eastern Bluebirds in my yard. They were checking out all my bird houses. I am not sure if they just wanted a home for the night so they could stay warm. I did not see them after that day. I hope they come back.
The male is peeping inside the house, while the female peeks around the corner.
I appreciate and thank everyone who links up their post and for all the wonderful comments !
Here is a list of my linky parties;

Wonderful to see Eastern Bluebirds!
ReplyDeleteI have put up birdhouses for them, but I think my yard has too many trees. From what I read about them, they prefer more open spaces.
Have a great weekend!

Happy Weekend!
Hello Eileen.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful and lovely birds. Have a great weekend!
Pretty shots. It's nice to have such a view :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting.
ReplyDeleteThose bluebirds sure are house-hunting very early. Maybe they want to apply for a mortgage before the rates go up! They are very rarely seen in southeast Florida, due to habitat loss, though they do range all the way down the west coast. At the turn of the century they were successfully reintroduced into Everglades National Park, along with the Brown-headed Nuthatch. Not much hope of seeing them in my back yard!
They are very cute... let's hope they are back.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Saturday and your little friends!
...a wonderful sight that I rarely see, thanks.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo series...and terrific reference to "house hunting".
ReplyDeleteThe birds are lovely to see, they know the way to Eileen's Food Feeder restaurant. :) Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful day and weekend.

ReplyDeletethat is a precious little bird sitting off to the right alone in the first photo. they are sooooo cute, all of them
ReplyDeleteBirds are curious. They remember houses with raising their young. Who knows? They may remember your house and be back.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Eileen, I have a neighbor that swears if you feed the birds they'll always remember where you live. Who knows right. Your cuties today are feasting well, and looking at these photos it doesn't even seem like real winter where you are. We have lots of snow yet, but the temps are rising so maybe lots will melt away this weekend. Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteMarvelous macro shots of our feathered friends ~ ^_^
ReplyDeleteHappy Day to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
Oh boy, I hope they set up housekeeping there.
