Saturday's Critters # 277

Welcome to Saturday's Critters !

If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

On Saturday March 30th hubby and I took a few walks on some of the nearby watershed trails and at a spot called the Hemlock Gorge. It was a warm spring day, in the 70's.   We heard the frogs peeping or croaking, turtles were out sunning themselves, we saw a few geese, a couple of Eastern Phoebe's and a Bald Eagle flew over our heads a few times.

We were walking on the fire road the Hemlock Gorge area and saw this Bald Eagle fly over us a few times. Can you even find the eagle behind the trees?

 Bald Eagle fly by!

Canada Geese were seen in a few spot at our lake.

Back at home the female Purple Finch is at the Sunflower feeder.

When the Cardinal is not banging up against our den window I have notice a pair of Chickadee's acting like peeping toms at the window.

I appreciate and thank everyone who links up their post and for all the wonderful comments !

Here is a list of my linky parties;

  35. Male cardinals are very aggressive. I keep a cover that looks like an oven mitt on the side mirror of my car when I park in our driveway because we have a cardinal that tries to beat up the bird in the mirror. He makes a mess of the car and even left a little dent in the mirror! Well, this morning I went to a seminar and when I parked, what did I see but another cardinal flying at someone's mirror! I covered up my mirror again before leaving the car.

  38. No peeps just yet, but the bird activity has definitely risen. Hopefully, some have not arrived too soon with it still too cold for flies. Turkeys marched through the other day and haven't seen them since last fall. Lovely eagle pictures. I follow the Cornell Cam of the Dale Hollow eagles...three in the nest this year.
