Welcome to Saturday's Critters!
If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!
I can see birds moving around our pond/bog area from my dining room window. On this day I saw the Northern Flicker stopping for a drink. The Yellow-shafted Northern Flicker is a large woodpecker. This one looks like a female, it is missing the black (malar mark) whisker.
After a drink at the pond, it flew up to a branch and perched for a while. The Northern Flicker is a beautiful bird, I like their markings and colors.
These photos were taken through my dining room window, I am sorry they are not clear and crisp.
A male Pine Warbler has been visiting my suet feeder. He is a beautiful bird and color.
A closer look at the Pine Warbler on my deck railing.
I hope and pray everyone is staying healthy, virus-free and taking care.
Thanks to all my visitors and for all the wonderful comments. I appreciate everyone who loves critters and has linked up their post.
Here is a list of my linky parties;
Also visit: I'd-Rather-B-Birdin. Thanks to the host Anni.

Great photos. I hope you're healthy and safe where you are. The situation is becoming stressful for me in Connecticut, but I'm trying to stay calm, because stress makes you more susceptible to getting sick. :-(

The flicker has such interesting markings. Great photos!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite forest birds...the art of his pattern is better than any artist could come up with. I am fond of dots. Unfortunately the virus is in my home town 9 cases so far...and it's allergy season to boot..double whammie. Have a good week. I may have to go gather some corn husks. Only old timers will understand, lol.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing the Flickers!
ReplyDeleteI have seen them only once here at my house, and very briefly then. Wish they would stop by for a visit again!
Have a blessed day!
Lovely capture on the northern flicker and striking in yellow Pine warbler! It’s damn pretty and cute :)

Have a happy St. Patrick's Day!
The pine warbler is just adorable! And I love Flickers ... we see them on both coasts and I love each variety. Thank you so much for hosting and for your very kind somments on mine. When I’m here in Florida, I tend to link to Saturday Critters at some absurd hour ... when I can’t sleep usually ... and am too tired and groggy to leave a comment. And then in the next day I forget to come back and thank you. Please do know how much you are appreciated! (When we go back to Oregon, I can link up at nine pm , an hour when I’m usually still thinking more clearly!)
ReplyDeleteThose pine warblers are so sweet. We are seeing Robins and that's encouraging!
ReplyDeleteRight now, the view from our dining window and kitchen window is the most amazing, isn't it Eileen? The Northern Flicker in your photos is a charm to look at as much as the Pine Warbler. In the present situation, many people enjoy the companionship of Talking parrot sales chennai .
