You have some cracker shots here, Eileen... I was particularly interested in the Brant Geese - not something I am every likely to see myself. Are seals a regular feature in the river, or was the poor thing way off course? YAM xx

It's good that I can see them here in Maryland, but i wish I could see those Buffleheads - what a lovely duck it is at this time of year. Have a lovely weekend and thansk for the chance to join in today.

I am not sure if you could have seen the long-tailed ducks in your area. They are here in the winter months, not that far south. Maybe your Long-tailed bird was a parakeet or Swallow-tailed Kite? I am just guessing.

  36. Hi Eileen, Thanks for taking us along to Ocean City, Assateague and Indian River Delaware. Enjoyed all your photos. Wow, the rocks at Ocean City Inlet are huge! I wonder if that is common along the East Coast? Interesting shots of the Assateague ponies too. I had to Google them and interesting to see that in 2020 there were 73 horses in the Maryland herd. Pretty cool! Thanks, as always, for sharing. Have a great weekend and best regards from Seattle. John
