13th Blog Anniversary

Hello,

July 13th 2009 was my first blog post, it is hard to believe this is my 13th blog anniversary.  I am sharing random photos  from my blog and dated between July 2009 and July 2022. Most of the images are of my favorite birds, they were seen in my backyard or seen during our travels. 

1.  From a blog post in 2009 I picked the Carolina Chickadees. They are one of my many favorite birds, I just think they are so cute. They even have a cute sound/song. 

2. From a blog post in 2010  I was always thrilled to see the Red-breasted Nuthatch at my feeders. They are not residents but occasionally visit my area.

3.  From a blog post in 2011 the American Goldfinch is a year round bird, often seen at feeders and they love the sunflower seeds. 

4. From a blog post in 2012 for many years, I would see the Pine Warblers in my yard and at the feeders. Seeing their pretty bright yellow color always brightened my mood.

5. From a blog post in  2013 the Snowy Owl was seen in Havre De Grace, Maryland on a snow covered field. 

6. From a blog post in 2014 the Scarlet Tanager another one of my favorite birds, it is a breeder in my area. I often could hear and see them while walking on the local fire roads and in my yard. 

7.  From a blog post in 2015 while in Florida at the Merritt Island NWR, we saw a huge flock of White Pelicans hanging out with the Roseate Spoonbills, Ibis and Egrets. 

8. From a blog post in 2016 also seen in Florida, another closer look at the Roseate Spoonbill. 

9. From a blog post in 2017 I look forward each year to see my Ruby-throated Hummingbirds return to their nest.  

10.  From a blog post in 2018 the Summer Tanager seen from the fire road, it is a beautiful bird. 

11.  From a blog post in 2019 the Painting Buntings seen in most Florida parks, the male is a rainbow of colors looking beautiful. 

12.  From a blog post in 2020 the Carolina Wren, is loud and fussy but so darn cute. 

13. From a blog post in 2021, my first grandson Wyatt born Feb 2021,  he is a joy and we love him dearly. 

14. From a blog post in 2022, a special event dated January 2022. Our grandson # 2 Mason was born.
