Glossy Ibis

The Glossy Ibis is a common bird found in marshes near the coast. It uses its bill to sweep thru the shallow water looking for earthworms. They have dark maron plumage with iridescent green and purple coverts.

This is my Watery Wednesday post and Outdoor Wednesday
thanks to 2sweetnsaxy and Susan for hosting these fun memes.

Also, thank you for stopping by to see my post.

They are very busy foor food.

The animals in the wild are so busy at their own business.

So do the monkeys.

Hi Eileen,
I've never seen an ibis of either colour before so really enjoyed your close up shots.
