Its chest looks very similar to my Puff-Throated Babbler.
One of my FAVE birds! They have been very elusive though. I think I only have one or two decent photos. These turned out GREAT!!PS - I added you as a Flickr contact today :)

Hi Eileen,I love the photo of the iris in your header! I enjoyed the thrasher photos, too.Thanks for the nice comment on my cc post. I startled a garter snake today, and I got startled, because I thought it was going to be a bunny fleeing from me. It was under a pot, so it probably felt it had to get away. I had my camera, but it went to fast for me to get a photo of it.I hope you are having a great week.
I am not familiar with birds, but they are fun to watch!P.S. Re: hike, yes I belong to a hiking group, oops, 4 hiking groups; 2 purely hiking, and 2 photography and hiking.
