With this post I am taking you back to Florida, a lovely sunset at Siesta Key Beach and some birds from the area.

Above are a Ruddy Turnstone and a Sanderling seen on the Vienna Beach, Florida.

We saw lots of Pelicans flying by at the Vienna Beach.

I like this shot of the pier with the flag and pretty sky. We also saw a group of dolphins swimming near the pier. They are always a happy sight for me to see.

This pelican was enjoying the Gulf of Mexico beautiful clear water.

Our sunset on the same day was seen at the Siesta Key Beach. A very pretty beach with beautiful sand.

Siesta Key beach is very popular and there were many people out enjoying the beach and sunset.

I really loved the clouds and the reflection in this photo above.

When I looked at the photo above it looks as though there is a hand holding the sun. I see a thumb and fingers? What do you see?

After the sunset and heading back to our car I saw the last bird seen during our visit to Siesta Key. I believe this is a Semipalmated Plover.

The birds in the below post are so colourful and pretty, great shots too. The sunset and beach look absolutely beautiful. The pier and clear water are also dreamy.

Love that little Sanderling. I saw them quite well in Morocco. So charming where they run back and forth around the beach. :) Love that sunset shot with the grass.

A fabulous series of captures Eileen. I do like the shot of the 3 pelicans gliding just above the water, and continue to be surprised that these birds are brown in the northern hemisphere; Pelicans in Australia are white. Thanks for sharing the beauty in your region of the world.

Great photos - I love the sunset of course - we have had a long winter this season in Sweden.

I went to see fireflies the other night. I wished the pictures of the flying. So before that, I consulted the camera maker's support center how to take photos of them and also moon and sky (mode and zoom); result were terrible or so funny that I found that I should give up with my type of camera p;)
I can finally see these gorgeous ones are for you guys "know how and with quality of camera" p;)

Love the play of light and colour in these beautiful beach and sky views! Still strange for me to see that brown toned pelican when ours are black and white!
