On the way, July 24

I am linking up with NF Winged   and  Skywatch Friday

July 24, 2013

These birds and  sky shots are all from this week, seen either on my way to work or on my way to the mailbox.

A shot of the moon setting, this phase taken this morning is called the Waning Gibbous

A colorful sunrise this morning seen on my way to work.

This is one of the more colorful sunrises I have seen lately. Either the sky is cloudy or very clear.

A Scarlet Tanager seen during one of my walks along the fireroad this week.

Lately I have been seeing more birds in the trees and bushes by my mailbox. This looks like a juvie Gray Catbird.

Some storm clouds moving across my sky.

One day this week..a little bit of blue but the sky was mostly cloudy.I hope you enjoy my post.  Happy Skywatching everyone!

Thanks for visiting my post and  blog and I always appreciate your comments.

  16. Nice picture of the moon. I haven't shot the moon in a while. Perhaps this next full moon I will capture it at different phases. I like your sky pictures, especially the one with lots of pink in it. Nice pictures of the birds too.

  19. You posted some beautiful photos! Love that moonshot. Also, your skies are gorgeous. We had a golf ball sized hail storm blow through here yesterday. It was pretty loud on our metal roofing. We just caught the edge of that storm, as it didn't do too much damage to our yard. Some of the crops got hit though.

  30. I was lucky to get several good moonset shots earlier this week. The moon has been spectacular as your photo proves. And yes, finally some color in the sky instead of grey haze. Glad you got a color show on the way to work. Wish I knew how to attract the unusual birds as you so obviously do--or, at least how to spot them!
