I am linking up with Mosaic Monday and Our World Tuesday
It's Sunday Morning and our clocks have spring forward an hour. We have sunny blue skies with some honking Canada geese flying over the house, birds are chirping all around the yard. It feels and sounds like a spring morning..I am looking forward to this new week ahead, we are expecting some warmer temperatures finally. I am hoping more of the snow around the yard will melt..I am anxious to see our daffodils and the forsythia in bloom..
To my left in a clear blue sky I watched groups of Canada Geese flying over the yard and neighborhood.
Looking to my right into the woods I see some white puffy clouds in the pretty blue sky and around the yard I see a few of the sweet looking Mourning Doves. They seem to be watching me too.
Above are one of my Dark-eyed Junco couples..The male is on the left and the female is on the right..You can see the female has more brownish tones and the male is more black (my book calls the male a slaty gray).
I hope everyone is having a happy Sunday and remembered to change their clocks..spring forward an hour.. Say good-bye to Old Man Winter...
Thanks for visiting my blog. I always appreciate your comments.

Beautiful birds all around.
It's funny how the Canada Geese flying in a v shape, what makes them do it? Anyway, your photos are so brilliant.
Those doves are just beautiful bathing in the sun!! Our skies have been filled with the geese in formation!!
Eileen,
Your surrounding landscape is host to so many wonderful signs of spring! The mourning doves are very sweet, indeed and the Canada geese, soaring in the spotless blue skies, fill my heart with freedom from this long, cold winter.
Have a lovely week; hope it's sunny and bright and warmer.
Poppy
Hello Eileen!

Dimi...
Hi Eileen, What pretty pictures today. Wishing you a wonderful week.
It was sunny and above freezing here this morning, but the clouds have returned, more snow to come:( Spring will be slow to arrive. Love you mosaic this week Eileen. Take care, Jen
Our Juncos are dark out this way...in fact, I have a post this week with one and it's hardly visible against the stonewall....:)JP
Now if those geese are headed home, I will have cause for 'hope' for spring!
Lovely mosaic - ty for sharing your beauty !
Hi Eileen!
I do love birds and your captures are great. Dear hubby turned the clocks forward for me. Have a great week.
I LOVE Daylight Savings Time! YAY> Happy Spring. Beautiful juncos...they are some of my favs from Oregon.
Perfect photos of how it's been in our time zone the last few days! I'm seeing a lot of geese too, but I'm not fast enough to get a good photo. --And I forgot to change the alarm clock, and I thought Carl did, but he didn't and we missed church--There's always next week! :-)
Isn't it great to be on the way to spring. I look forward to seeing daffodils in the garden too. Valerie
Love your blue sky photos! Hooray for warmer weather!
Nice photos! We had 60 above here today, and the melting continues. We're ready for spring!!
it certainly looks like spring is on it's way in your yard Eileen. So do you put your clock forward from 8am to 9am? or back from 8am to 7am?
Out eastern states have daylight saving in summer here in Australia, but not in Western Australia. I liked it when they trailed it here, but the referendum said no!
Have a wonderful week Eileen.
i love the juncos ... ( :
Wonderful photos . . . I especially liked the little Juncos. I wonder if we will see as many of them once the snow is melted and gone.
It's always exciting to see Canada geese fly over! We did a little bird watching today and saw several scrub jays. It was a first for me so very exciting! Enjoy your week!
Dearest Eileen;
Oh, happy for you having the slight atmosphere for spring! I'd like to see these Canada Geese flying in the blue sky, must be gorgeous♡♡♡
The enlarged picture of the Dark-eyed Junco couples really made me understand your explanation, my friend. Such sweet looking couple; I learned the word 'slaty' for the color♪
Sending you Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
I just love the doves!
Lovely bird pictures. Isn't it nice to hear the geese as they fly over?
Beautiful images and collages.
It must be nice to see the geese in the sky as a sign that spring is on the way.
A lot of neat photos Eileen, you saw a lot of lovely sights today. Love them all!
Lovely photos, super sky and bird shots, they are so hard to get just right, and you nailed it. Are the Canada Geese migrating past your place further north? Cheers, Jean
We're looking forward to warmer temperatures, too. It's nice to see blue sky again!
I like these montages with all this scenery.

Hi Eileen, I miss seeing Canada Geese (there were many up in Crossville, TN). I also miss the Junco's. Your pictures are really nice. Have a wonderful coming week!
A lot of our snow is melting too.
Love the geese pictures.
Lovely seeing the blue skies through the trees - your morning doves sure look cold!! Know they are looking forward to warmer weather!
Didn't like that 1 hour forward time!! It takes me a week to catch up!
Olá Eileen, tão belos os céus e os voos dessas aves! A primavera está a chegar e com ela as neves vão derreter-se! As flores aparecerão e será uma imensa alegria! Abraços e boa semana. Ailime
Great shots of the birds flying in formation. Sweet little junco pair. Another standout in this post is the trees silhouetted against that blue sky.

I am saying goodby to winter, though there are some aspects of it I will miss. And I know as soon as Spring arrives, I will have a load of work to do in the yard. Your pictures are much like we look here ... still snow on the ground, but actual grass starting to show through. Very nice post, Eileen.
Andrea @ From The Sol
i enjoy viewing nature with you.
You are so lucky to have so many beautiful birds around your house!!! And the geese are so spectacular!
I wish spring will soon be upon you, my daffodils are already gone!!!

Hi Eileen, looks like a beautiful day! Its always fun to see birds passing in formation. The juncos are too cute! Have a great week!
Wonderful shots. I like the formations the birds in the air make.
This is a wonderful collection of birds.
The morning doves look so plump and happy! It felt like spring here yesterday, as we hit 70 degrees, but tomorrow we will be getting some snow so that weather ddi not last long!
I can almost HEAR the geese flying overhead. Love the sky and the "V" formations.
All your bird shares = always a delight.
Charming like a dream... just to have a look "around your yard" and It looks like a heaven... on the right: "some puffy clouds", then on the left: "some Mourning Doves"... More than just lovely pics....
love the sight of migrating birds. :)
I think that Dark-eyed Junco couples truly beautiful birds. I never seen in my self. Really nice Eileen.
Enjoy the nice weather today.
