I am linking up with Mosaic Monday and Our World Tuesday
It's Sunday Morning and our clocks have spring forward an hour. We have sunny blue skies with some honking Canada geese flying over the house, birds are chirping all around the yard. It feels and sounds like a spring morning..I am looking forward to this new week ahead, we are expecting some warmer temperatures finally. I am hoping more of the snow around the yard will melt..I am anxious to see our daffodils and the forsythia in bloom..
To my left in a clear blue sky I watched groups of Canada Geese flying over the yard and neighborhood.
Looking to my right into the woods I see some white puffy clouds in the pretty blue sky and around the yard I see a few of the sweet looking Mourning Doves. They seem to be watching me too.
Above are one of my Dark-eyed Junco couples..The male is on the left and the female is on the right..You can see the female has more brownish tones and the male is more black (my book calls the male a slaty gray).
I hope everyone is having a happy Sunday and remembered to change their clocks..spring forward an hour.. Say good-bye to Old Man Winter...
Thanks for visiting my blog. I always appreciate your comments.

ReplyDeletePerfect photos of how it's been in our time zone the last few days! I'm seeing a lot of geese too, but I'm not fast enough to get a good photo. --And I forgot to change the alarm clock, and I thought Carl did, but he didn't and we missed church--There's always next week! :-)

ReplyDeleteit certainly looks like spring is on it's way in your yard Eileen. So do you put your clock forward from 8am to 9am? or back from 8am to 7am?
ReplyDeleteOut eastern states have daylight saving in summer here in Australia, but not in Western Australia. I liked it when they trailed it here, but the referendum said no!
Have a wonderful week Eileen.

I am saying goodby to winter, though there are some aspects of it I will miss. And I know as soon as Spring arrives, I will have a load of work to do in the yard. Your pictures are much like we look here ... still snow on the ground, but actual grass starting to show through. Very nice post, Eileen.
