Saturday's Critters #22
Hello & Happy weekend everyone!
Another Saturday has rolled around and it's time to share your critters. I am looking forward to visiting and seeing everyone's critter post.
My critters are from a few weeks ago when we visited the local Hashawha Nature Center.
This goose seem to be on guard when we walked past..
A pretty male Mallard floating in the lake among his reflection and lily pads.
I was amazed to see how many turtles were out sunning themselves. Everywhere we look at the lake and wetlands the turtles were there.
I am guessing here, but I believe this is called the Midland Painted Turtle, a native turtle of North American, It skin has orange or yellow stripes.
A Canada Goose was sitting on a nest at the nature center. I hope you enjoyed my critter post. Now, I want to see your critters.. I wish everyone a happy weekend.
Thank you for linking up to the critter party. I appreciate the visits, comments and the support of my blogging friends..
To see more beautiful birds and cute critters, check out these two memes below.
Please visit: I'd-Rather-B-Birdin. Thanks to the gracious host: Anni of I'd Rather-B-birdin. Also, sharing with Camera Critters. Thanks to Misty for hosting.

ReplyDeleteOh, I asked my husband if he knew the reason of the sunning of turtles. He said a couple of reasons and made me check with pc. Surprised to know many reasons p;)

Everybody's Spring seems to be weeks ahead of us. It is still cold here and I have yet to see a turtle sunning itself, though they do all around us when there is sun. I love seeing this collection of spring happenings and am so glad you have them going on near you. Nice post Eileen.
