Saturday's Critters #86

Saturday's Critters #86

It's Saturday and it's time to share your critters.. Any kind of critter will do, even a new or old post.. I appreciate everyone who is linking in on this week's critter party. And of course I always appreciate my blogging friends stopping by just for a visit and leaving a comment.

I am sharing some more critters from our visit to Cape May on July 6. Most of these images were taken while walking on the trail at the Cape May Point State Park.

I just fell in love with these cute Killdeer Chicks.

The Killdeer chicks were running in front of us as we walked on the trail in Cape May.

The American Oystercatcher is a cool bird and one of my favorites to see at the shore.  I hope you enjoyed my critters and post. As always thanks again for linking up, for the nice comments and for visiting my post. I wish everyone a happy weekend!

Thanks to Tex Theresa aka Tex, I was able to add this link up button and thanks to  Jennifer for creating my photo badge.

To see more beautiful birds and cute critters, check out these two memes below.

Also visit:  I'd-Rather-B-BirdinThanks to the gracious host: Anni.  Also check out Camera Critters. Thanks to Misty for hosting this fun meme.

I adore this time of year with all the chicks being so active...and the killdeer babies are adorable. The snake can remain in the grass tho...I've seen 'em all too often this year. lol

your collage gives an idea of how many species of animals you saw!!!
Amazing!
The snake reminds me I have very few for a couple of years, a sad thing.
Great shots, Eileen, keep well!

Cute Kildeers. They are probably one of the first birds my children learned to identify when they were small as they watched the 'broken wing' act in the field across from our home.

I could mention all your fine critters but I think it is enough with The Killdeer chicks they are so cute :)

Thanks for hosting!

What was that about GOOGLES last stupidities? You have to put this in your sidebar? After having pushed that button on top a hundred times each day I am thinking of stopping blogging. That is obviously what they want. :( I think everybody knows that there are a thousands of cookies in our computers. And more are coming each day. :( :(

That walk certainly gave you wonderful opportunities for a variety of animal photos.

Nice variety of critters. I love the killdeers. Like to watch them run. They remind me of little road runners. : ) We have quite a lot of them around here.

I like the butterfly, and the Killdeer chicks are so adorable, especially the part about them running down the path ahead of you. I would love to see some, so I like yours. I'm wondering if they are like the plover chicks that forage for themselves even when small.

Linda said...

My, you "catch" so many critters! Love the chicks!

Aahh! A snake! Hope you had a strong zoom to capture that one. ;-)

Wonderful critters you share with us, except for the snake - I am not a fan. I live in New Zealand where there are no snakes, but we do have Oystercatchers (not the American ones) and they look different, but similar enough I know they are related.

I love all your photos - the collage on top is great! The oystercatchers here on the West Coast are all black with orange-red bills and orange eyes. Quite striking, I think, whereas the ones in Germany look more like yours. I love to see all these differences.
