Saturday's Critters #259

Welcome to Saturday's Critters !

Happy December!
If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

Nov 22nd I have some images of the Yellow-bellied Sapsucker on one of my feeders. I have been seeing the Sapsucker more often lately.

From Nov 20th, a few favorite yard birds are the Carolina Wren, Tufted Titmouse, White-breasted Nuthatch and the Dark-eyed Junco.

Nov 19th, the Northern Flicker found a some berries growing on a vine in our yard.

Not sure if this is the male Northern Flicker on the right and a female or possibly a juvie Flicker?

I appreciate and thank everyone who links up their post and for all the wonderful comments !

Here is a list of my linky parties;

Also visit:  I'd-Rather-B-Birdin. Thanks to the gracious host: Anni.

Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

Lucky you, having such a variety of birds at your feeders! My backyard mahogany tree is the "feeder" for a female sapsucker who arrives every year around Thanksgiving. Your flickers are both adults, male on left and female on right.

I have only rarely had Yellow-breasted Sapsucker visit my backyard and to the best of my recollection never on my feeders. They have all departed from this latitude for the year.

all these little birds must be super strong, they hang upside down and sideways and by claws only. so cute

Nice pictures from your yard Eileen. I guess the weather is a little colder now, hence the sapsucker spending time on the feeders. Many thanks for the link again today.

I miss seeing the Junco when the weather turns cold. It was always funny to see them show up on a snowy day in NC...wondering where they had been! It's rainy and cool here today...perfect to be at home! Happy weekend!
