Eileen's view of the national parks scene for Scenic Sunday

I thought it is cool how you can create a collage with Picasa. So here are some of my pic's of the national parks I have visited. The parks have so much scenery and so much to enjoy. Each picture in the collage has something that represents my view of the national park. The collage is clickable for a bigger view.

Full size pic's can be seen at my flicker slideshow link:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/eileeninmd/show/

This is a list of the parks that I have visited Acadia Nat’l park, Alaska Glacier Bay, Arches Nat’l Park, Assateague Nat’l Seashore, Bryce Nat’l Park, Canyonland Nat’l Park, Chincoteague Nat’l Seashore, Glacier Nat’l Park, Grand Canyon Nat’l Park,
Great Falls Nat’l Park, Hawaii Volcano, Lassen, Mt Ranier, Olympic, Redwoods, Sequoia, Shenandoah, Tetons, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Zion. Each one of these parks are seen in my picture collage.

I would like to make a goal to see every national park in the USA. I think each park has something special to see. So far my favorites have been Yellowstone and the Tetons national parks and mainly for all the wildlife.

Hey, let me know if you recognize any of the parks from my pictures. I know they are a little small but I have the regular size photo too.

This is Owbow Bend in the Tetons National Park. Best bird sighting at the Tetons and Owbow were a Grouse and a female Western Tanager.

I love your eagles. We don't have them around here.

  20. I am very enthusiastic about this nature collage. The components are fan-tas-tic (I think I even see a bear). Many years ago I've visited three of the parks you mention (Yosemite,..) . It is an impression I will never forget, esp. because here in Western Europe we don't have much room and our nature area's often have the size of a hankerchief. Composing the collage must have taken quite some time, but it certainly it's worth it. Great job !!

  28. I think I recognize Acadia National Park in the next to last row of your neat collage. You'll have to add Smoky Mountains to your list. We have friends who have visited National Parks in 49 of the 50 states. They are currently planning their trip to Hawaii to complete the 50 states.

  29. This is one amazing collage, one of the best I've seen. I'd love a link to see each photo larger, like in a slideshow. Don't say you are not a great photographer; some of these are just stunning. Wonderful collection. My only comment is that I'd like to see a bigger one on the blog before clicking, they just seem too tiny to see hardly at all as is.

  33. What great photos. I especially like the one of the moose. I live in New Zealand but each time hubby and I visit the US we try to add several National Parks to our itinerary. We've visited many of the ones you mention. I think Americans are very lucky to have such brilliant parks and facilities available. It's very difficult to choose a favorite but I think Yosemite is very pretty. Some of the lesser known ones such as Black Canyon are good to visit. Oh, I enjoyed Mese Verde very much too.

  34. I hope you make it to all the parks - great idea to have a goal like that, and I'm looking forward to seeing more photos from your travels.
