Saturday's Critters #61
♥♥ Happy Valentine's Day ♥♥
Happy weekend..I hope everyone is well.. It's time to share your critters.. Any kind of critter will do, even a new or old post.. I appreciate everyone who has linked up in the past and for those who are linking in on this week's critter party. And of course I always appreciate all my blogging friends stopping by just for a visit.
Suddenly my Pine Siskin numbers have increased from just one to three on Feb 9..I am hoping next time they bring their friend the Redpoll with them to lunch at Eileen's..
Above are three Pine Siskins on the thistle sock..
Meet my new grandpuppy ..Nibbles is her name... Nibbles is a rescue, part German Shepherd.. I am happy I will be able to puppy sit sometimes.. YEA!!
Isn't she cute? My son surprised us with his new puppy last Sunday when we showed up at his place to go out to dinner.. A cute and wonderful surprise..
I hope you enjoyed my new Grandpuppy, my birds and post..Again I thank you for linking up to the critter party. I also appreciate the visits, comments and the support of my blogging friends................... Have a happy weekend!
Thanks to Tex Theresa aka Tex, I was able to add this link up button and thanks to Jennifer for creating my photo badge.

grandpuppy, what a great thing and so sweet. Steal every heart.
ReplyDeleteNibbles is a very cute pup. What breed is he? I like the 'thistle sock'. I haven't seen a feeder like that before. What type of thistle seeds do you use?
ReplyDeleteAll your pictures are bright and fabulous. Best wishes on Valentine day to you too. We in North India are having the best of weather. Bearable cool and tons of sunshine. of course I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Nibbles looks delightful! I miss seeing those winter finches but not the cold and snow. This morning we were a frosty 45 degrees F with a breeze that makes it feel like 41. Bundling up now to get out on the morning walk!
ReplyDeleteA member of my family likewise surprised me over the holidays with her new puppy, only he was already by then 60 lbs! 8-)
ReplyDeleteThe Pine Siskins and finches are so cute on the mesh bag, fun to watch. Nibbles is adorable, I only have grand kitties.

Nibbles in the basket made my HEART sing... so precious... sweet little birds. Happy Valentine day
ReplyDeleteOh Eileen, Nibbles is just gorgeous and I know how much you will love babysitting!!! If he needs an "auntie" I am available. Eileen, how can I tell the difference between a Pine Siskins and a Goldfinch beginning to turn? I thought I was looking at finches, but in looking at your close-up, I wonder. What woould be the distinguishing factors?..:)JP
ReplyDeleteI just adore checking out these lovely critters, and seeing the posts that roll through my blog. I took some cute photos that once I check my camera, may post here tomorrow. I should join in too! It's so the rage you know.

Omg, this puppy is adorable !
ReplyDeleteHappy Puppy Day, Eileen!
ReplyDelete~
Nibbles is super cute!
ReplyDeleteWe have pine siskins here at the moment, and we have been warned that many of them actually develop some kind of salmonella that kill them as well as other birds that share the same feeders. It's sad... we will actually stop feeding for two weeks or so until the pine siskins have moved on (they don't stay here). So far there weren't any dead birds in my yard, but I'm not taking any chances.
What a cute puppy! Hope to see more of her.
ReplyDeleteNibbles is so cute!
ReplyDeleteThe puppy is being really good for being in the cart, he`s a cutie! I`m wondering if some of what I thought were finches on my thistle sock are really pine siskins too, thanks for hosting, have a great rest of the weekend,Phyllis
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the Grand Puppy, Eileen!
ReplyDeleteWhat a bundle of joy! Enjoy!!
Have a Beautiful Day!
Peace :)
I now have a new love interest. At first I thought you got yourself a new furry companion. But like any 'grand'...you can spoil 'em and send 'em home afterward. LOL Nibbles is precious.
