Saturday's Critters #63
I guess you have to be a birder in Maryland to appreciate that the Pine Siskin numbers were growing each day.. It could be years before I see them again.. On this feeder above there are above 10.
And at the same time I had about 7-8 Pine Siskins on some feeders near by..
My large feeding station during the snowstorms.. You can see the Pine Siskins on the top and on the ground under the table..This week I was seeing around 12 Pine Siskins maybe a little more at my feeders.
I had a new sighting out my treadmill window.. I was able to watch a bunny for awhile when I was "walking"..
I hope you enjoyed my birds, bunny and post..Again I thank you for linking up to the critter party. I also appreciate the visits, comments and the support of my blogging friends................... Have a happy weekend!
Thanks to Tex Theresa aka Tex, I was able to add this link up button and thanks to Jennifer for creating my photo badge.

Happy weekend, everyone! Can you believe it is the end of February already? I think it is because I have been rushing winter along..I am ready for Spring..
It's Saturday and it's time to share your critters.. Any kind of critter will do, even a new or old post.. I appreciate everyone who has linked up in the past and for those who are linking in on this week's critter party. And of course I always appreciate my blogging friends stopping by just for a visit.
I am sharing some of my yardbirds..the Pine Siskins. They are fun birds to watch at the feeders. They can be super bossy and very stingy. Sometimes I will see them sharing the feeders..

Have a Beautiful Day!
Peace :)
Aww, the bunny is so cute! Thank you for hosting, Eileen!
Dearest Eileen; How LOVELY your Pine Siskins are♬♬♬ Your explanation about them brought me smile. Bossy and very stingy but they are cute birdies(*^_^*)~♪ My favorite picture in this post is your large feeding station, how great to be able to them like that with snow scene.
The Bunny is lovely but the sweet poor one looks a bit cold :-)
I hope you will have a wonderful weekend.
Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
HI Eileen wow! So many Pine Siskins come to your garden. The very special when you are on your treadmill. Thanks for hosting and I hope you have a great weekend.
Pretty bossy birds and cute bunny!
Happy weekend too.
I think we are all waiting for the next season to come along Eileen, you for spring , me for autumn. It does look awfully cold for little bunny and the birds.
Lovin' this!!!
I've yet to photograph a P. Siskin. But a couple of 'em was reported to be spotted here in our area just a couple days ago....too cold and wet for me to go birding!!
Cute Bunny!!!
Beautiful images of birds in the garden.
There really are a lot.
Have a happy weekend, Eileen.
Thanks for your lovely photos and cheery chirpy post. Thanks too for organising this super meme.
Thanks for the bunny photo too. I love bunnies. I even joined one of their clubs once.
Have a great weekend.
I haven't seen any pine siskins this year and usually they are all over the place in my yard. I guess they are at your place instead. ;)
Thank YOU...again and you know why...:)JP
Que o teu fim de semana seja tão lindo quanto as fotos! bjs, chica
You gathered so many Pine Siskins, excellent photos Eileen.
Sweet little bunny. They're so cute....and so darn destructive in my garden!!!
Sweet bunny ... I always love spotting them. And I'm not from your State at all,but I think it's wonderful that you have so many pine siskins! So fun to watch!
Thank you for hosting.
What lovely photos!
i love the bunny. what a cutie.
we have snow every where. opened the front door to let the hubby in last night and the neighbor kitty kat was sitting on one of our front rocks ... i guess she was watching something good. it was too funny. she stayed there for a good long time. i wonder??! ( :
have a nice weekend!!
Hi Eileen,
Lovely fotos of your critters. Those birds around the table are surely lucky to live in your neighborhood with such a spread....yum...yum. Happy last day of February to you.
That last one is soooo cute :))
Have a happy weekend with lots of bunnies :)

We've never had siskins. Congratulations! Great photo of the rabbit!
your yard birds are awesome!! WoW on the number of pine skins, i don't see them in my yard!!
cute bunny, mine don't come out this time of year!!
have a happy weekend!!!
we've gotten pine siskins a couple of winters down here. pretty neat. cute bunny, too! thanks for hosting, eileen!
Love the shot of the Pine Siskins crowding that round feeder. Cute little birds I have never seen here. I do like the cottontail!
Just came in from replenishing the feeders. Unfortunately, yesterday a squirrel managed to get the big suet log loose, it fell on the ground, and when I found it there were about 2" left of a 10" log. The dog was very sick last night.
Isn't it fun to see so many birds at your feeding stations! They need it in this weather. We've been well below zero for the last several mornings. Makes for very hungry birds.
Eileen, I was not familiar with a pine siskin, and it is a very pretty bird. Love your bunny, too.
Eileen, what a great collection of Pine Siskins. Thanks for sharing.
Thumbs up for your critter party.Must be a unique experience to listen to their chirps around. And the way you feed them and look after their needs. The bunny looks so sweet and vulnerable.
I think I have only seen them once at my bird feeders and that was a long, long time ago. Great pictures of them Eileen and I do love that bunny. Thanks for hosting and have a great weekend.
Well I am celebrating spring with my Seasonal Celebrations post and linking in as I think about the birds returning to sing and nest....here's to spring moving in soon! Love the bunny and your birds are grateful to you Eileen!
sweet little bunny and I love that first photo, it is like a ball of birds
I chuckle when I imagine you on your treadmill with your camera in hand ... don't miss a step it could be frightening. So many Pine Siskins ... I am lucky to spot one on my feeders. I used to get more, but not lately. They look so much like my sparrows that I could be missing them if I am not paying close attention. The Bunny is too cute ... he should be somebody's pet (my idea, not his, I am sure). Fun post, Eileen ... have a great weekend. Hope it is warming up by you ... we are still in the subzeros, Ugh!

Hello Eileen!:) Wow! So many Siskins in your garden, and a bunny too, What a lovely view you have through your window. I do like your metal upright feeder.:)
I'll bet the birds are liking you with all those nice feeders. Cute bunny!
Such pretty shots - I love the bunny with the snowy nose!
Lovely nature and critter shots ~ favorite is the bunny! Great shot!
Happy Weekend to you,
artmusedog and carol
Lovely to see the Pine Siskins dotted over that global feeder Eileen. What good idea for fitting lots of birds in one spot. I think we're all looking forward to Spring.
Have a warm weekend
What a cute bunny!
what a cute bunny!
Lovely Siskins.
So kind of bunny to inspire your workouts!
~
Adorable bunny shot! Great series.
Eileen, I sure did enjoy your backyard friends on this Saturday! I use to see Pine Siskins, by the 100's when we first moved to Colorado in 1986. We get some, but not anywhere near those numbers. They are the cutest little guys! I really like the feeder in the first photo.
Hurry Spring!!!! ;-)
I'm so glad that you're getting the little pine siskins at your feeders! They look fairly compatible when they're all there together. I loved the shot of the starlings in your previous post too (although they are not my favourite bird). It looks like they've been drenched in oil the way their feathers shimmer. Beautiful! Enjoy your weekend :)
Wendy
Your Pine Siskins are so cute, I had them for the first time last November, in flocks of around 20. They are so busy and energetic, like a boiling pot.
Cute little birds and bunny!!Thank you for hosting!Have a nice day!
your feeders are crowded :)
Awww! My heart just melted when I saw your bunny! And after I scanned the other comments, I see he is a fan favorite! Darling!
I'm so glad it's March tomorrow! Long, cold winter, but March has got to be the last of it! Amen!
Hi Eileen, What a mob of Siskins! I think it is wonderful that you are so kind and good to all the birds who come by. Outstanding! I am thinking of just putting up a feeder in the backyard on a pole or from a tree limb. By the way, I heard a Red-headed Woodpecker this afternoon but could not see it. Who knows? Have a fine weekend!
A great serie for the bird theme!
My post at: https://hanshb.wordpress.com/
There is nothing wrong with a bossy little bird, she says... or as I know: it takes one to know one!!! Ha ha. Loved the bunny, thinking of Easter already!
Wren x
We don't have pine siskins here..I always think they are finches in your pictures..Our finches don't eat sunflower seeds..I'll try to link up with you when I figure out what I'm going to post next week...Have a good weekend..
How lovely to have that many birds to watch while you walk!
Nice series ! I love the bunny !
What a cute little bunny. : )
Hi Eileen, I enjoyed your cute little birds and the bunny. I've been away from blogging for several months and just started a new blog. Thank you for hosting. Mildred
Hi Diane,
Great post, that poor little rabbit looks a bit chilly!
I have finally got organised enough to post on your Saturday Critters - sorry I don't manage it on a regular basis, my blogging tends to get done in irregular blocks!
I notice you have a tag about removing word verification on your blog, how do you do that?
Have a great week :)
Hi, Eileen. I enjoyed seeing your pine siskins. They are lovely little birds! Hope you are enjoying your retirement, Eileen.
Blessings, Beth
Love the bunny shot! I've noticed the last week or so that we have a lot of Redpolls--They practically fall out of the tree when I put seed down.
Cute little bunny! My feeders are full of Redpolls instead of Pine Siskins, and so far I'm seeing about two dozen or so at a time.
Hi There, I laughed seeing all of the Pine Siskins. I have them too this year (don't get them EVERY winter ---but maybe every other one)... Anyhow---I have about 40 or so altogether... They are not afraid of me at all since when I go outside to put up my feeders each morning, they are there waiting flying all around me... I've never had birds do that before... Yes--they are cute...
Great set of pictures.
Hugs,
Betsy
I saw a bunny the other day too. They must not care about the snow.
Looks like they are enjoying their feast. You're such a gracious host to have many and large feeding stations. Last but not the least, the bunny is cute too!
Hello Eileen,
You have many Pine siskin in your backyard!
And that bunny is a regular visitor or a new one?!! I don't remember seeing it on your blog previously!
What a cute face, you must be thrilled :)
Lovely post!
Keep well and enjoy your day!
Quite a "swarm" of siskins! (More fun than a "murder" of crows!) In New Mexico they were also erratic visitors to the feeders, probably relating to food availability and population pressures in the far north. I was a bit late as I spent yesterday on a birding trip. Thanks for hosting us!
What cute little birds! And I love the shot of that bunny. So sweet! I've been seeing so many birds around lately and I love it. Blue jays, cardinals, even some robins. Spring must be coming, right?! :)
What a great indoor walk you had! Love the birds and bunny!
brings me so much joy
i get a laugh out of how many winter birds you get on & around that table!! love it!!
CUTE bunny too!
happy sunday!
Wonderful pine siskins and I love the bunny too.
Happy Spring!! It's March 1st - already and in your yard is a wonderful world to see!!
