Oh wow..what a beautiful owl! It must be great to see..
I love owls! They're on my "sure wish I could get a picture of one" list. These are great photos. Glad you talked your husband into walking (and walking...) to get the pictures.
Yes, that is a good one. I'd love to take one, and put it down in my galleries.
That first picture is beautiful. That bird is definitely on my list to see.
Eileen: That is a beauty, I have never seen one live.
Great photos and well worth walking that distance to see it, I think!
Great photo. It's such a beautiful creature - I've never seen one so white
Great photo glad you talked your hubby into it.
Such a beautiful owl - great capture!
Haven't seen one in my life - must have been an amazing moment.
Thank you for sharing.
A wonderful new week for you.
Oh my gosh..what a treat to see these beautiful raptors. I like that you didn't want to disturb it. For some people seeing it is more important...Michelle
woww. great pictures most especially that snowy owl sitting on the top off a sand dune
Great Owl pictures.
Still a sleep?
Great Owl photos, Eileen! This is one the birds I want to see before I leave the U.S. for good. But...travel to the East Coast is out of the question at the moment.
what a beauty! You were lucky to get such a good shot.
Nice photos, and nice hubby to walk all that way with you! Who have thought to find a snowy owl at Assateague?
That is a superb photo! Brilliant capture!
Very impressive bird!
Excellent shots of the Snowy Owl Eileen! I would have walked as far as I had to to see that bird. I will be looking for sightings of this bird closer to California and try to catch it this winter.
oh what gorgeous photos, stunning, I'd love to see snowy owls
Wow, that is awesome! We would see the snowies once in a great while where I grew up in the Alleghenies--folks said it was because the snowshoe rabbit population had crashed so they came south for food.
Beautiful bird and shots!
Lucky you :D!
What a gorgeous bird, well worth the walk I would say.
Hi Eileen, I came from Amanda Moore's blog. Beautiful owl shots! Have a wonderful week :).
WOW! Gorgeous bird and wonderful photo captures. I know they are in our area but I've never been able to photo one! Love seeing it on driftwood/beach.
Amazingly beautiful! I don't think there can be a more beautiful bird. Lucky you! They are at the top of my "want to see" list, but I don't know if I will ever get fortunate enough to see one.
I'd absolutely love to see a Snowy Owl in the wild....it would be crippler me.
