I am linking up with NF Winged and Skywatch Friday
June 26, 2013
Another week flying by, its time for sharing your birds on NF Winged and to share your skies on Skywatch Friday. I hope to see you all there.
Tufted Titmouse with a dried Meal Worm. I am see lots of baby birds lately. The Tufted Titmouse fledglings are fun to watch and they make the sweetest sounds.
A couple of Chipping Sparrows, the fledglings are being seen all over my yard lately. They are so cute.
LOL, my yardbirds and I are excited about our blueberry crop. I have two blueberry bushes that are full of berries. I am hoping I can get to pick some ripe berries before the birds get them.
The Lantana on our deck is looking pretty. I chose Lantana after reading that this flower attracts the butterflies and hummingbirds.
The Scarlet Tanager singing in the tree across from my driveway.
On this day hubby went off into the woods with Goldie Girl and my camera. He came back with some great sunset photos and moon shots.
Hubby's Super Moon shot! It is a beautiful color.
The Super Moon reflecting on our lake. The sky shots this week are courtesy of my dear hubby. I hope you enjoyed this post and photos.
Thanks for visiting my post and blog and I always appreciate your comments.
Happy Skywatching to everyone!

Ptaki sliczne. Lubię wróble. Widoki z zachodu słońca są super. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteHumming birds. I like sparrows. The views of the sunset are great. Yours.
You'll be amazed at how quickly birds can clear out a crop of berries. I did battle with Mrs. Robin a few years back. She got 95% of them. It wouldn't have been so bad if she wouldn't run around the yard with that smug smile on her face..........
ReplyDelete:D
Your blueberry bush is loaded! I have 2 bushes that have been in for about 4 years and are still small and produce just a few berries. Do you feed yours something special? How old are your bushes. I really thought mine would be a lot better by now.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos around the nature. My favorite is your second and your fifth photo. Amazing !
ReplyDeletei really enjoy the scarlet bird. what a beauty. the lantana is so cheerful!! ( :

Lovely bird shots but wow! your sky pictures are magical!
ReplyDeleteI love the bird photos - the scarlet tanager is quite amazing - I've never seen one in person. The sky and moon shot are spectacular - especially at the lake. We had clouds the night of the full moon - but there will be another one - maybe I'll get some shots of it then.
ReplyDeleteWonderful post with beautiful shots of the birds and the super moon!

ReplyDeleteHi Eileen!! Great shots!! I really like the ones of the Sparrows and the Scarlet Tanager!! The sunset and moon shots are fabulous, too!!
ReplyDeleteNice pictures. We have the chipping sparrows around our yard too these days. They tolerate being close to the house more than most birds.
ReplyDeleteThat was many fabulous pictures! We don´t have that red birds in Sweden.

the sparrows look gorgeous with their red heads. Great shot showing them.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo diary of your time with nature. Your garden blooms are lovely. I am glad to see a Scarlet Tanager. I have never seen one in person...so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAwww, the Chipping Sparrows are so cute! I bet their babies are really cute too. Looks like you'll have a lot of blueberries soon if the birds can stay away from them haha. Love the beautiful sunset shot - wow!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your photos....
ReplyDeleteThe lake with the moon in it is amazing...

happy birding ~:)
Hi Eileen, I have never seen a Scarlet Tanager but I sure hope I do see one some day soon. Lovely Lantana flowers and I think the Super Moon is, well, super! Have a great day tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Such beautiful and stunning shots! Really great!
ReplyDeleteYour moon shots are fantastic. I always love seeing the birds you photograph too.
ReplyDeleteI love those lake and moon shots!
ReplyDeleteWe are seeing a lot of baby birds here too--They are as big as their parents, but still have to be fed, don't they?
ReplyDeleteAll your photos are again, just amazing, and continue to make me want to be better at taking my own photos.
Beautiful shots of the birds! Love the sunset and moon reflections on the lake!
ReplyDeleteYour hubby did a great job with the camera, nice shots!
ReplyDeleteIt's a joy to see the young birds. I keep thinking I hear a Tufted Titmouse, then realize it is the Mockingbird. One would expect to find a yardful of birds, but it's only him, singing his heart out.
I do like blueberries, I wish I had them growing in my backyard. I think lantana is pretty too but it's a curse here, it grows wild and takes over the bush so you never see it in gardens.
ReplyDeleteMerle..........
Really nice bird photographs.
ReplyDeleteJM Illinois
Beautiful super moon pics!
ReplyDeleteEileen, Beautiful shots--all of them. I especially like the sparrows, HUGE super moon, and the reflection on the lake. Have a terrific weekend. Mickie :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great series of shots! The titmouse is one of my fave birds, even though I have never seen one "live". Tell hubs his photos are terrific too!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful post... I'm particular fond of your rising of moon.
ReplyDeleteAmazing pics.... Love the moon
ReplyDeleteAll superb shots!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous shot of the moon. That must be some zoom you have on that camera. I love the bright red bird. It must be lovely to have all the babies around. Wow growing your own blueberries. Its too hot here to grow them. We pay $& for a small punnet.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness your blueberry bush is loaded! We only ever have a handful of berries on our little bush. Lovely captures of birds and skies.
ReplyDeleteSuper moon is very well shot...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful collection of photos, nature put on quite a show for you, thanks for sharing

The lantana is beautiful, and so are the Chipping Sparrows! You and your husband make a great team.
ReplyDeleteThe little birds are all so cute. I hope you have better luck with your crop of blueberries than I'm having with my raspberries. But then the birds seem to enjoy them so I don't really mind.
ReplyDeleteI love those gorgeous moon shots!
lovely images Eileen! I'd love to be watching the birds when those berries start ripening :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Eileen!!! That Tanager you have over there is something else. I love all your shots. I am several weeks behind in my reading but I see you've joined Birding Is Fun! Congrats and I look forward to your posts there as well! I can't wait to get home again and just give myself a break. It has been a lot of work over here and everyday is full of new rewards but it's constant work. Rain forest birding is difficult. I am looking forward to the East side of the country eventually and some of that cooler weather you get to enjoy:)
ReplyDeleteWonderful... love that sunset photo!
ReplyDeleteThe moon shots are excellent, love the reflecting moon. I like those two brownish/red headed sparrows . . . Very nice post Eileen!
