I am linking up with Camera Critters
Ok guys, I am blocking the camera go and eat all the birdseed
Could you lower this feeder some, I have to stretch SO far to reach the food.
Are you looking at me?
A few sweet looking doves
The masked bandit...luckily my feeders were put away in the evening.
I like how the camera caught this coon walking along the deck railing.
A downy woodpecker outside my dining room window

The squirrel must be hoping that he does have wings.

ReplyDeleteDarryl and Ruth :)
Cute series, love the shot of the downey eating peanuts.
ReplyDeleteFun series!! And great photo of Goldie Girl. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeletefabulous photos again; the squirrel got to the feeder? That was quite some stretch, how frustrating.
ReplyDeleteThat squirrel tail is so darned fun to view! I would love to have a 'bird cam' set up in our yard! The blue jay....I miss them --we don't have them this far south! And Goldie Girl...she's beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!!! I love photos of nature and animals and it looks like you do too. I particularly love your squirrel and raccoon antics in this post!
ReplyDeleteThanks for making me aware of Camera Critters.
Great shots, love watching the squirrels and their antics (o:
ReplyDeleteAmazing all of the activity that goes on while we are *away*. Love this post, Eileen -- your comments make me smile.
ReplyDeleteWhat amazing photos you capture with your bird cam! I love these...the "unaware" shots are priceless!
ReplyDeleteEileen, Thanks for your nice comments on my past posts. So glad the wedding is over--fun but stressful! What a variety of "critters" you have around your house. Such fun to watch their antics--great captures. Have a lovely weekend. Mickie :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great series Eileen! I love the squirrel stretch. You get some lovely birds visiting your yard.
ReplyDeleteHaha love the bird cam shots as always... The Blue Jays came out pretty nicely!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, love the squirrel with it trying to get the food-well captured:)
ReplyDeleteIts good to see the good ones and the "nearly" ones Eileen. If only those creatures realised they could be famous they might pose a bit better. The stretchy squirrel made me laugh, and the oblivious crow - if only they knew! Hope your spring arrives soon.
ReplyDeleteyour golden girl is beautiful
ReplyDeletelove the stretching squirrel
I do enjoy your 'candid camera' critters!
ReplyDeleteThat is one determined little squirrel caught in the act. What a great raccoon shot as well.
It appears your yard is a lovely place for visitors.
Hope your weekend is off to a good start Eileen!
How cool that your camera caught all those critters! I want one, now! LoL! =)
ReplyDeletethe first shot cracked me up. you get plenty of varmint raiders to your feeder area. :)
ReplyDeleteThese photos crack me up. It is interesting to see what animals do when they think no one is watching :)

ReplyDeleteRegards and best wishes
Love your up-close shots!
ReplyDeleteAnd your golden is gorgeous.
Great collection from your wonderful backyard Eileen. That squirrel knows how to stretch!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Eileen..hope your enjoying your weekend! I missed you and just got a little run down recently..but hey, your header is just so inviting and these criters are hilarious!!
ReplyDeleteI found these little sparrows eating my myna bird food! (though one is separated from the other cage its easy for them to get through one. Well, I'd been switching off with larger size pellets to save (not as nutritional) but now I can't get it anymore? So I have to provide for the sparrows who were already waiting for me this morning (lol) I can't imagine this crew here..they are delightful and you must just get a kick out of them- great share Eileen- Your sweet dog is precious!!
oooohhhh i want one too!! you are getting some really fun shots!!
ReplyDeleteThe shots of the squirrel are so fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the look you're getting from that jay!
ReplyDeleteI see the squirrel can be quite entertaining! :) AND the raccoon!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty dog! I am laughing at your bird cam. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I really want to get my own....maybe this summer. I am fascinated by animal and bird behavior.....did you know that Ravens love to look at themselves when given a reflection? Pretty intelligent birds. Some even say smarter than a dog....but don't let your puppy hear that:) Enjoy you're weekend. Keep sharing those funny squirrel and racoon cam pics....I like these posts a lot.
ReplyDeleteHi Eileen, Betcha can't tell which picture I like - yep, that Downy Woodpecker is the one. Love that raccoon, too! Sauntering across the decking like it is right at home. Ha! Good thing the bird feeder is put away. Have a wonderful Sunday tomorrow! Like your dog, too by the way.
